About Me
Hi I'm Emily, I'm 33 years old and a fully qualified Primary School teacher working in Gravesend, Kent.
I currently teach in Reception and specialise within the Early Years Foundation Stage. I also have experience of teaching within KS1. I have 10 years experience teaching within primary education and a wealth of knowledge relating to early childhood education, phonics and early maths.

My Experience
I have 10 years experience of teaching children in EYFS and KS1 (ages 3-7). I am also primary trained and completed my PGCE in primary education (ages 3-11).
I have experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs, especially children who are Neurodivergent, including those on the Autistic Spectrum and with ADHD. This is through my job as a teacher as well as previously volunteering for a SEN charity (SNAAP) and at Woodside SEN school.
I have a level 1 in British Sign Language, hold a current pediatric first aid certificate and a full DBS certificate. I have also completed Designated Safeguarding Leader training.
My Qualifications
BA Hons Undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Studies (major) and History (minor).
PGCE with QTS in Primary Education (ages 3-11).
12 A-C GCSES including a B in Maths and English.
AS Level in Fine Art
A Levels in Psychology, History and IT.
I also hold a current DBS certificate and a clean driving license.
My Availability
I am available most weekday afternoons and evenings as well as the occasional Saturday.
