My Experience

I have worked privately for families all over London and also in my home town of Lancashire during COVID-19.

As a nanny I like to bring to your home a quirky, energetic and creative energy but I also like to keep things in order. I’m firm but very fun and this is a mix that has been greatly appreciated from my previous families. Assisting with homework, cooking light dinners, arranging play dates, arts and crafts activities, trips and of course all things performing arts are a part of schedule I will create around you!

I have previously worked as an activity leader for groups of foreign teenage students visiting London for English Summer school (EF). This involved guiding them around the city on public transport for visits and coordinating activities. There was a lot of responsibility, head-counting and money handling duties in this role (as well as making their days fun, interactive and educational!)

I worked for a year and a half for a truly wonderful school- The West London Performing arts academy as their visiting LAMDA exam tutor. I had just over 5/6 private students with whom I worked and tutored towards their examinations- text work, improvisations, character building, script examination, audition technique and confidence building. A fruitful role- 50% of the children were SEN. This brought new challenges and even greater rewards.

I have a current DBS certificate and have just completed Level 1 Safeguarding and Food Hygiene courses.

Being an actor, I think my skills would accompany the development of a child learning to read, express vocallly through language and gain confidence whether that be through a nannying position, tutoring or teaching.

First Class Honours Degree in Acting (Rose Bruford College)
BTEC Level 3 Performance.
11 GCSE grades A-C.

Right now as we approach September 2022- I am actually seeking something on a much more flexible/ad hoc basis.
