About Us

Little Pips Nursery in Chippenham is a family owned, 'home from home', private daycare nursery offering the highest quality of childcare to children aged 0-5 years old. Our inspirational learning environments including our wonderful gardens with huge sandpits, mud gardens, pirate ship, wooden playhouses, car and bike track, Wow shed, growing area, dedicated baby garden and much more, enable our children to explore and learn supported by our hard working, dedicated team of ladies.

This year (2019) we were Runners Up for the NDNA Nursery of the Year Award (South), being one of only three nurseries chosen from the entire south of the country. Our recent Ofsted (May 2019) identified the high standard of care we provide for our children and the inspirational and exciting learning environment they thrive in by awarding us OUTSTANDING in all areas.

Our ladies closely support our children and record their development using electronic learning journals which enable you as parents to monitor your child's fun adventures and progress.

We also run a 'Graduate Scheme' for our oldest Pips who are leaving for school in September. This scheme supports their transition through fun daily activities which develop their skills in phonics (reading), mark making (writing) and maths.

Our dedicated cook provides freshly prepared, home cooked food on a daily basis and our children help to make a pudding once a week. They have also been very enthusiastic with their vegetable growing this year and have helped to make some of our main courses too!
