About Me
I provide a warm and friendly home from home environment in the seaside town of Monifieth. I am within walking distance of the local park, beach, toddler groups, library and shops. A short drive takes me into the countryside where there are some beautiful parks. I live in a quiet cul-de-sac with my husband, two adult children and our two labradors who are both very good with children. I have a dedicated playroom in my home and an enclosed, secure back garden with outdoor toys.
I am registered with the Scottish Care Inspectorate and am part of the PVG scheme.

Mary Jane is a warm, kind and reliable childminder who gives 100% to the children. Communication is great, I receive regular updates and photos. My girl enjoy the outdoors with 2 friendly dogs whenever the weather permits. I felt at ease and comfortable leaving her with Mary Jane because I know she would be safe and content. Highly recommend!

Mary Jane is fantastic. My son loves spending time with her and the family and settled in so well from day 1. It’s so lovely to get picture and message updates throughout the day with how he’s doing and what he’s been up to. She couldn’t be more accommodating.

Mary Jane and her husband Ross have provided a warm, friendly and professional childcare service for our two kids (aged 2 and 5). Nursery picks-ups were always on time and reliable and Mary Jane always took a very flexible approach to doing additional days if/when we needed it. Both our kids enjoyed getting out and about with Mary Jane regularly to the likes of the park, shops or soft play, as well as playing within the setting and being allowed some supervised interaction with the family’s friendly dogs. Thoughtful little touches, like providing cake on the kids’ birthdays and making sure she had toys that both of them would like, were really nice to see. Would definitely recommend Mary Jane and Ross.
