The husband runs a global recruitment business and works primarily in the City of London, but regularly travels abroad to the USA for a week or more at a time. The wife works for the same business as a recruitment consultant but works partly from home.
The children are a daughter, 4 and a son, 18 months.
Our house is large and lively. We have a relaxed and happy home which is often messy due to us not having enough time to keep it neat and organised. We live right on the river and have a 2-acre shared garden with a trampoline which the children love to run around in.
We also have a cockapoo who is very sweet and extremely loyal but takes a little while warming up to new faces.
As a family we like to travel abroad where possible. We like to be active and get outside, to eat lots of different foods, play games and be creative, but we also like to lounge about in front of the tv and relax.

Overview
We are looking for someone with the confidence and organisational skills to manage our children and our house during the week until September when the elder child starts school. We want the children to be entertained and nurtured, fed healthy meals and allowed to do arts and crafts and develop the same as if they were in nursery.
We are keen for them to go and play in the park and get outdoors. Safety is a primary concern for us as a family. So outings should be well organised and security maintained at all times.
We want our nanny housekeeper to be like any other member of the household and to feel welcome and at-home here. On top of the regular duties there will likely be opportunities for the nanny to accompany the family on holiday to France, Corsica, Greece, Spain or the Caribbean. There may also be ad-hoc babysitting and overtime opportunities.
Day to day Nanny duties
? Dressing the children in the morning and tidying their bedrooms.
? Encourage the elder to dress herself
? Assisting with brushing teeth, hair etc.
? Designing meal plans and preparing all children’s meals.
? Cooking/preparing simple foods with the children
? Arts, crafts and other games/gardening/growing things in pots etc.
? Making packed lunches if going out
? Nursery collection/drop off for daughter
? Taking the baby to swim lessons (if required)
? Getting outside in the garden or to the park/for a walk/meeting with other children/outing activity
? Quiet time/TV time while the baby naps.
? Story time with the children.
? Simple maths and spelling with the elder.
? Support the children in tidying up
? Evening routine (dinner, bath teeth and into pyjamas)
? Clean up
Housekeeping duties (as needed)
? Hoovering
? Dusting
? Clean bathrooms and kitchen
? Disinfect children’s toys and play area
? Feed and brush the dog
? All children’s laundry (including bedding, towels, etc.)
? Watering plants
? Taking out rubbish
? Keeping the car clean and tidy
? Organising the children’s meal and activity plans for the week
? Walk the dog and wash him afterwards if needed
? Ad hoc household tasks e.g., ordering groceries, going to post office, overseeing tradespeople, etc.
