About Me
I offer a tutoring service, specialising in students with SEND. I am currently working as a SEND Teacher, however I am looking to begin to build some relationships for when I finish this role at the end of March. I have a DBS in my current role, however of course will be getting a personal one in time for March.
I also offer a SEND Child minding service. Having a break is important for you as a parent/ carer. For more details about this please get in touch. Trauma informed.
My Experience
I have a wealth of experience in working with students that face barriers in their every day life and in their learning. I did my teacher training in mainstream Art in 2019. Then in 2020 I began working in alternative provisions, currently in an SEND school.
I have taught all subjects, with emphasis on Maths, English, PSHE, Art and life skills. I am able to adapt learning to meet the needs of the students I work with. I have a range of strategies to engage learners in education and to support them use these, working towards independent learning.
I am aware that when students face barriers to learning, this can often display in behaviour. I am experienced in deescalating situations when challenges arise. I have good interpersonal skills to build my relationships, using positive rewards and celebrating achievements.
Prior to training to teach, I worked as a support worker with people with SEND and challenging behaviour. I have undertaken self directed studies to understand those that I work with so they can gain the most from their day.

PGCE with QTS Secondary Art - PASS
BA (hons) Fashion Promotion & Imaging - Higher 2:1
National Diploma in Art & Design - Triple distinction
Additional courses studied - Level 1 Mental Health, Alternative Provision, Equality and Diversity, Being resilient, Managing Behaviour, Strategies to support students with Autism

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £50.00 per hour
Child minding rates -
Monday - Friday 8am-3pm - £50
Babysitting - £10 per hour
