About Me
I am a young woman looking for childcare work before I pursue my teacher training qualification. I am a creative and sociable person who loves spending time with children as I admire their creativity, innovation and sense of humor. My hobbies include writing, reading, taking photos and cooking.
My Experience
Fully DBS checked. Looking for p/t or f/t work as a live-out nanny. I have worked as a Learning Support Assistant and a Pastoral Support Assistant in secondary schools in Bristol as well as supported creative activities at summer schools. I have recieved lots of mental health training; at the beggining of the year I was training to be a children's CBT therapist, and although I left this role before qualifying, I retained lots of this learning and went on to work in community mental health. I use a trauma-informed approach when working with young people and am competenet in handling challenging and complex needs. Above all, I am responsive to the individual and invested in building strong developmental relationships with young people. Prior to this, I was a teaching assistant in holiday art classes and a maths and english tutor. I am used to holiding caring and supportive relationships with young people of all ages, and am a kind and nurturing individual with a particular interest in encouraging creativity.

No formal childcare qualifications but strong academic background. Full DBs.
