About Me

Hello My name is Lydia Halliwell

I am 38 years old i have been in childcare for 20 years i have been a nanny for 18
years. I have a Ba honours in education and childcare. i am married and have two boys of my own william (8) and George (2) . I have had the pleasure to work for some lovely families that I am still in contact with.

I am currently looking for a new 3 day permanent role from December/Jan as my current role has had to change. I am also looking at the options of two morning a week to try and fit in with my other role.


I really enjoy working with children and helping them excel grown and develop. I Love the outdoors and taking the children outside I also enjoy crafting, baking, role play and reading and being at home.


I have my own son who is 8 he is at school full time and currently now have a 2 year old

I have experience with all ages of children from newborn to school age. I have a knowledge of all aspects of Childcare from establishing routine, weaning, potty training to homework supervision with older children. i believe in cooking healthy nutritious meals and have an nvq in cooking. I try to implement a varied day consisting of outings to parks toddler groups classes plus playing and crafts at home and strongly encourage reading and learning work

I have have a crb,first aid and many qualifications including a ba honours in education and childcare I am also ofstead registered. and have my own car and full driving licence

My hobbies include walking and cycling I also enjoy going to the gym in the evening

I also do babysitting most weekends and I am looking to increase my client list my rate is £11.00 happy to travel to most locations
