About Me
I have worked in childcare since 2012, before this I gained a Diploma in Fine Art & Photography. Since then, I have been able to work closely with children, enabling them to develop their skills as well as their creative wellbeing. I love working with children, being able to provide them with a stimulating environment, along with exciting activities, aiding them to progress as well as have fun, guiding them through use of the EYFS framework.
I am currently Manager of a nursery, but looking to explore my options within childcare and believe a full time Nanny role would enable me to provide 1:1 care for a wonderful family.
I have worked with all age groups over the years, from 3 months - 4 years.
My Experience
I have been working within Childcare since 2012, gradually working my way up, to now Nursey Manager. Along the way I have undertaken two NVQ diplomas in Childcare, along with gaining invaluable experience working within a close team environment.
Since taking on a more managerial role, I have gained experience and responsibility in more administrational tasks and a more diplomatic, high risk environment.
Nursery Nurse Level 3/Room Leader (Weybridge/Cobham area) - My main responsibility in this role is providing fantastic care for every child, taking into account their individual needs and accommodate them into a caring and stimulating nursery environment. As well as this, this role included planning activities for children throughout the day, encouraging play & sharing activities, indoor & outdoor supervision at all times, partaking in cooking activities in the room, adhering to nursery policies &
procedures surrounding children's health & safety and keeping up daily cleaning tasks.
When I undertook the role of a Head Of Room. This role included stepping up and taking
on more responsibility in managing a team, improving my leadership skills through the job and via training. This job also allowed me to delegate in a working environment, accommodate my teams views & opinions whilst maintaining an equal approach. This promotion enabled me to broaden my career prospects and develop my skills within childcare.
I am currently a manager of a nursery, looking for a new path in childcare to take, hopefully being able to provide nurturing 1:1 care for a lovely family.
