About Me

Ofsted Registered Childminder offering nurturing care in a spacious and clean family home with a fully equiped garden and fun play areas. I provide care for under fives only and do not do school runs so the little ones can have full attention.

A range of toys and activities to suit children’s interests and development age are always on offer including sensory play, heuristic play and treasure baskets. I have a keen interest in forest school/nature type activities and believe children should develop their gross and fine motor activities in the great outdoors as much as possible.

I work closely with other childminders and go to nature walks, canal, libraries, parks and playgroups together, this gives children opportunities to become fimiliar with the wider environment, the local community and a range of other children which builds on their social skills, confidence and understanding of the world around them.

I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum to assess and plan for children's individual needs and interest through fun and play based activities but most importantly I pay particular focus on children building a secure and trusting bond with me through warm and loving care and attention through which they later confidently explore their environment.

As well as being Ofsted registered, I am on Islington Council's Childminder's Quality Assurance Scheme and get regularly inspected by the Islington Council to ensure I maintain best practice and outcome for the children.

I am based on Dame Street, easy drop off/pick up, non-smoking household.
