About Me
My names Marie I am an honest, fun, friendly and reliable Childminder in Ashington. I live at home with my husband and my daughter has left home for university, but comes back almost every weekend to raid the fridge. I opened my home to childminding in 2017. My aim is to create a space where children are free to explore their own interests, have fun, feel comfortable, safe and enjoy their time at Nutty Nook. We currently have daily access to our own allotment where we maintain, griw and harvest our own fruit and vegetables. I believe I develop good relationships with parents and work hard to create a solid partnership to enable me to provide the best care possible.
My Experience
I have worked in a school, nursery, private day care and as a self employed nanny. I have undergone many educational courses, achieving AAA grade at my diploma. I am constantly reading and participating in online courses to ensure my knowledge and practice is up to date. Please feel free to ask I am more than happy to share/show certificates and references.

My two boys aged 18 month and 4 love going to nuttynook. Marie puts the children first, from meal planning, promoting independence and having fun activities, to her own personal development, and gaining relevant qualifications.I love that the kids are encouraged to be involved and often come home wearing their fun! Marie always has a smile on her face , and is so friendly, warm and approachable with loads of enthusiasm and energy. My kids would go all day, everyday if they could. Your kids will love it too!
