About Me
I have a degree in English and in Arts but found my vocation in life, spending my time with children. I am a mother of three happy & well rounded children all attending local schools. My husband and I became registered foster carer's for vulnerable kids in 2013. However having turned my focus on Childminding instead, I am keen on providing a brilliant childminding service! Although we have a spacious large house, I only prefer to accept a small number of children in order to provide a unique 'one to one' tailored service which is cosy and nurturing.
My Experience
My experience lies with catering for children and have done so over the past 14 years. Although this relates to my own children followed by foster children, I always aim to be compassionate, caring and promote a nurturing environment to get the best out of children of all abilities. By keeping to a very small number of children in my sessions, I maximise the specialist attention I can offer so the child feels really valued.
My Qualifications
Degree in English and in Arts, paediatric First Aid, safeguarding trained, EYFS certified, registered with OFSTED, insured premises and insured car
My Availability
I prefer mornings but can consider after school and all day.

I have had really the best experience with Shallu. My son loved to be with Shallu and literally used to cry to stay longer with her. Shallu took care of my son( last year) so good that my mind was always at peace thinking my little one was at safe place and with a loving and caring person. I was so impressed with Shallu's way of childminding even including feeding food my child by sitting right next to him and making sure he was eating all and properly. My son had the best playing and activity time with her, sometime I thought if he had that many activities and fun at his nursery (presently). I always loved about Shallu that she was so flexible and even would come over to pick my son Just to save my own time for NO EXTRA COST. I am so thankful to Shallu that she helped me of taking care my son when I needed.

Shallu is a very warm n caring person. She was very flexible to accommodate our needs. My little one was 12months old when we approached her as I had to get back to work after my maternity leave. I met quite a few childminders but wasn't satisfied. I was getting anxious as the time was approaching. But after meeting Shallu, my mind was put at ease. We got such positive vibes after meeting her in person. She's very professional in her dealings with personal touch. Soon my elder daughter also started going to her after school. Both the girls really enjoyed Shallu's company. She kept us posted with everyday activities which clearly showed their personal development at early stages. Her setting is very well maintained with good hygiene. Her charges are quite reasonable compared to other childminders. She even dropped my kids home after I finished work, which did help me balance work life. We felt lucky to have found her, whom we could rely on, with confidence. One of the best childminders we have ever met ❤

Shallu has been providing childcare for our two kids for more than 2 years now.
Our kids love her and stay very active at her place. She is very kind and caring. Kids get along with her very well.Shallu keeps them engaged with painting, art and craft activities.When the weather is good she takes them outdoors as well. During term holidays she takes them to pet centres and kids love it. She always checks with us before taking them anywhere. Kids look forward to going to her place after holidays as well.
She picks up kids from school and they stay at her place after that. There is enough space for kids and there is a garden in the back to play. Kids also get a variety of options to eat if you ask. We are also allowed to pack nut free / allergy free food for kids for longer stays.
We are lucky to have her.

It was a wonderful experience with Shallu as my kids first childminder. I just started work that time, my little one was 2.5 years old and elder kid 5 years old, both my kids were used to stay with me whole day. But they got along with her very well from the beginning, I was so relieved and happy to see my kids enjoying with her and listening to her. She is very friendly, polite and knowledgeable personality.
The childcare room is very spacious, she has got good collection of toys and educational activities as well. She used to take kids out for outdoor activities too. My kids enjoyed the time they used to spend with her and other kids. I really appreciate her efforts on different artwork, writing, painting work and fun time spent together. I feel really fortunate to have her to support me with kids and my kids had amazing time with her.
