About Me

I am a trustworthy, hard-working and caring person. I am 39 years old and grew up in Cornwall but met my husband who was born in Northamptonshire so have settled here. I live in Towcester with my husband, 2 daughters (7 years and 5 years) and dog. I love walking and spending time with my daughters.

I completed a degree in Primary Education with Mathematics in 2005. I then became a manager in retail which gave me some great tools in managing my own time to ensure everything is completed. Since having my daughters I have had the opportunity to reassess my career and have decided that my love of working with children is the most rewarding job I could choose. In between having my children I worked in a nursery (see My Experience). After having both of them, I was a nanny for 18 months when the circumstances of the family changed and they no longer needed me. I then became a SEN teaching assistant but my 1-to-1 leaves for secondary school this year and there's no funding currently secured for susequent pupils. Although I drive and have my own car, I am preferably looking for a family in Towcester. I can be available during all school hours though preferably no more than 20 hours per week.
