Luciana started to look after my son since he was only 6 weeks old (now he is almost 11 months old). We're sad to see her leave soon after this month because my son is about to start in nursery. She's very skilled with newborns with many years of experiences. My son trusts her very much at this very young age. She schedules his daily routine, advises on any questions I may have concerned and we always keep transparent communications between each other. She prepares my son's meals and milk, takes him to playground and parks, encourages him to achieve his milestones e.g. rolling, sitting up, crawling, pulling up to stand and at the moment learning to walk.
Luciana is positive, cheerful and energetic all the time. She also speaks French to my son even if he can't speak yet but I pretty much appreciate the multilingual environment that she creates with her presence. She helps me with light house chores while my son's napping or when she's free for a moment. She always asks me proactively if I need any help in house apart from childcare.
I am very grateful to have Luciana as my son's nanny during his first year of life and I'm sure my son has many good memories with his LuLu. I highly recommend her.
Unfortunately Luciana will leave her present job with me at the end of August as my son will go to a nursery closer to my workplace. I have been extremely lucky to find her and I'm very happy she is my son's nanny. I have seen so much progress on his development since she has been looking after him. Luciana has got a natural talent in dealing with babies. My son was 10 months when we met her (he is now 14) and he liked her immediately, so much that I left him from day one with her. I trusted her from the very first time as my instinct told me she was the right nanny and with my great surprise she did not need any shadowing period. Before meeting her I was sure my son would have struggled to be with somebody different from me since we had been so close for 10 months. I could happily see that he adapted very quickly and enjoys so much staying with her all day. She would cook for him, would bring him to playgrounds and playgroups. She has been even successfully potty training him despite he is only 14 months. She would help me at home with light housechores without me even asking her and that is wonderful considering I work full time. She has got initiative, she is practical, always happy and patient. She has allowed me to return to work without worries and I will always be very grateful to her for that as it made a huge difference to the way I work. I know I can concentrate as I feel reassured my son is with her. She has many years of experience in childcare and she has always given me very useful advices on my son's education, food, routine and many other things. I will miss her enormously and I can't recommend her highly enough.
