About Me
We are warm and friendly, yet professional childminders who absolutely love working with children. Gigi, one of us, has her own twin children , and I -Ioana - am a proud auntie. Seeing the progress and development of the children in our care brings us immense joy and gives us the confidence that we are doing a great job. Our ultimate aim is to provide exceptional care and create a loving environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
In our childcare setting, we have created a cosy and welcoming atmosphere that is specifically designed to cater to the needs of babies and toddlers in particular. We understand the significance of early childhood development and we tailor our activities to ignite curiosity, foster creativity, and promote social skills. We strongly believe in giving children the freedom to explore and lead their own activities while engaging in educational games and play that facilitate learning.
We celebrate the uniqueness of each child and strive to nurture their individual interests and learning styles. Our curriculum is carefully crafted following the governmental guidelines of "Development Matters" and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), ensuring that we observe your child's development and support their progress.
Safety is of utmost importance to us. We have taken all the necessary measures to childproof our premises and strictly adhere to health and safety regulations. Our comprehensive first aid training and deep understanding of child safeguarding will give you the peace of mind that your child is in capable hands.
We strongly believe in open communication and building strong relationships with parents. Your input is highly valued and we are committed to ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. We warmly and strongly encourage you to schedule a visit to our childcare setting, where we create a nurturing environment for your child to flourish and thrive.
Furthermore, we update you daily to keep you well informed about your child's progress.

Our bright and spacious house in East Finchley is the home from home for your little one, with a large and safe garden filled with fun and educational toys like a tikes town playhouse, swing and cars.
Our commitment to you is that we will treat your child with the same care and respect as we do our own.

My Fees
- Childminding from £9.50 per hour
8.30am – 3.30pm = £80.5
8.00am – 5.00/6.00pm = £95
There is always a possibility of starting earlier than 8 am and finishing later than 6 pm. Just let us know what you need and we’ll do our best to accommodate it.
What we offer:

Going back to work after maternity leave was so difficult but the moment I met both Gigi and Ioana I knew the one thing I didn’t have to worry about was leaving my daughter in their care. They have created a loving, supportive and stimulating environment which clearly comes from years of experience and a genuine passion for their job.
The playroom is spacious and filled to the brim with activities and a safe place to play. It opens directly into the garden which is especially great in the summer, allowing the children space to be outside and explore. One element that I had underestimated, but that has been so incredible, is that they provide messy-play clothes for the children to wear while they are there. This means that I can drop my daughter off without having to worry about packing spare items of clothes and it takes some of the never ending laundry off of my plate!
Gigi and Ioana also send daily updates which include pictures and what they have been up to which has quickly become one of my favourite times of day. I always enjoy hearing about the amazing meals that Ioana prepares which has undoubtedly helped with my daughter’s ease at exploring different flavours and textures with foods.
My daughter loves them just as much as they clearly love her, and I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have found them!

Ioana is a wonderful childminder for our son. She is caring, warm and our son absolutely loves her. They play a range of games and activities at her house and in the garden.
Leaving your child with someone new is always going to be difficulty but we have always felt assured that Luca is in a place that is an extension of home to him. We love the daily updates, pictures and often find ourselves jealous of the meals he gets!
We would definitely recommend her to others looking.

We couldn't be happier with Iona and Gigi. Finding childcare for our 9-month-old daughter was daunting, but they made the transition so smooth.
At first, our daughter struggled a bit with the new routine, but Iona and Gigi were incredibly patient and understanding. Now, Maria practically goes in every morning, waving and smiling.
Iona and Gigi have a fantastic set-up, with plenty of stimulating toys and resources for her to explore. The lovely garden is a huge bonus too! It's clear how much they care about the children's well-being. She's super attentive to Maria's needs and ensures she has healthy, delicious meals.
We also love the daily updates!The pictures, videos, and notes let us see Maria's day-to-day activities. It gives us such peace of mind knowing she's happy and thriving.
Most importantly, Iona always welcomes Maria with a warm smile. We can't thank them enough for the amazing care they provide!

Gigi was our amazing nanny for seven wonderful years, and now she's taken that magic to her nursery, creating a space where learning is fun and encouraged. Gigi's personal touch and passion for each child shines through. We're so proud of her and grateful for the joy she brought to our family and now to the community through her fantastic nursery.

Ioana and Giorgiana took care of my girl since she was 3 months old. As a new mum I was very worried and anxious, but I soon realised these two knew a lot more than I did and that my child was in good, experienced hands. I used their services even after my girl started school, on half terms and summer holidays. Very happy with them, would recommend them 100%.

Ioana looked after my twins for three and a half years and I can’t say enough about how wonderful she was. She has fantastic knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities. She cooked great good and encouraged my boys to try new foods and eat healthily. She treated my children like her own - so caring, gentle but firm, generous with her time and attention. My boys were so happy with her and became more confident and outgoing due to her encouragement and approach. I highly recommend her (and her sister, who we have got to know as well!) to anyone looking for loving, well organised and devoted childminders.
