Hello parents,
I'm an Italian professional nanny who lives and works in London since January 2016. I'm currently working full time from Monday to Friday (7:30/7:30) for a lovely family with one little boy of 28 months and a precious girl of nearly 6 ( they were 3 months and 3 years when the job started). I've more than 20 years of experience, DBS, Fist Aid and British driving licence. I love working with babies and toddlers, singing, dancing, playing hide and seek and doing painting and art&craft. I'm a very good chef and I always cook fresh and yammy food for them. Very kind and patient but firm I know that every parent has got their own rules as every child is different from another one, with own developing time and personality and I deeply respect all of this, trying to be helpfull doing my best( I'm a mother of three, now grown up, myself). What else? I DO love my job, really.
My Experience
Working with children since 1992, Nannying is not just a job...it becomes your life, nor is it babysitting, there are many professional trained nannies out there working hard and dedicated to the children under their care.
It is a challenging, demanding and emotional career but the rewards are amazing. Developing a close relationship/friendship with the children and families I have worked for has been a definite reward. I am still in touch with my last family and even after not visiting for a while; it still feels so special when I do see them.
I currently am working as a sole charge full time nanny and have been working with this family for two years. I look after one boy 2 and one girl 5 in London. I work from 7.30 till 7:30. My role includes nursery duties, arranging social activities for the children, shopping and preparing their meals, I also love thinking of and exploring new arts and crafts things to do. I particularly enjoy sensory activities and developmental fun activities.
In my time as a nanny I have become more and more aware of the impact and input we can have as nannies on a child’s life, bearing in mind that a person’s most formative years of their life are the first five years.
