My Summary
About Me
I am an experienced Ofsted registered childminder, with a proven track record working with different children in a strong family setting. I run my setting professionally and am committed to providing a friendly and safe environment
for the children in my care.
I am an open-minded, outgoing, and resourceful with a sound background and an optimistic outlook. I am registered to care for six children zero - eight years with no more than three children under school age and one under one years of age.
I have experience in all-round care, with enthusiasm and the proven ability to understand children’s needs through my years of studying and working with a range of different children.
I aim to provide children in my care with fun, stimulating learning opportunities and productive working environments according to their age and stage of development through play and everyday activities. Also, to enable them to live a happy and independent life.
I understand that each child is an individual and must be treated with respect. I provide children with a nutritious and balanced diet and ensure they have healthy food options and exercises to keep them fit.
Over the years, I have attended numerous training opportunities and have completed Local Authority training including:
• Safeguarding & Welfare Requirements
• Learning Outcomes
• Brilliant babies 0 – 2 years

I am happy to take on any child within my registered numbers and will not discriminate against children or families for reasons such as race, religion, sex, or ability.
I am a member of childcare.co.uk and early years with whom I also have my public liability insurance.
My Experience
Daily outings are in line with the seven educational program and learning and development set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage. These include trips to local community playgroups, parks, shopping centers, farm, museums. This provides the children with the opportunity to meet other children, play/socialise with others and also helps them to explore their environment.
I read different books every day to children which is in line with EYFS requirements and also with the aim of developing children's communication and languages and adding to their vocabularies.
I interact with children throughout the day, during their play/activities and often question them to find out what they are doing to scaffold their learning.
I ensure children’s time in my care is happy and productive by providing materials that each of them would benefit from.
I assist children with their immediate needs such as washing, dressing and maintaining their personal hygiene as well as carry out the administrative or paper work consigning their care.
