My names Tara and I'm 37years old, I've been child-minding for the past 10years. I enjoy working with children and have had many adventures out and about. I'm very active and enjoy outings to the zoo, farm and museums. I like to incorporate learning with activities to make learning more attractive and fun for the children.

I have recently updated my training and have also added some extra courses which include;
Level 2 award in food allergy awareness for childcare
Level 2 award in food safety in catering
Awareness of domestic violence and abuse
Awareness of child abuse and neglect
Understanding pathways to extremism and the prevent programme
An introduction to FGM, Forced marriage, Spirit possession and honour-based violence.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
My fees include all food and drink, which are healthy balanced meals. We enjoy cooking homemade food all together and learning about new foods. I also include outings in my fees, we regularly attend the local farms, parks and Whipsenade zoo.
9month -2year - 4 year old funding is available if your child is eligible.
Food, drink are not included for 3 - 4 year funded children this will be extra and discussed on meeting.
Outings are also not included in the funding and will be extra and discussed on meeting.

As a university student juggling academic responsibilities, finding a reliable childminder for my kids was paramount. I am thrilled to share my wonderful experience with Tara’s Tots.
During the half-term, they provided an engaging and nurturing environment for my children, filled with a variety of activities that my kids absolutely loved. The team’s commitment to child welfare and development was evident in every aspect of their service.
What stood out most, however, was their exceptional support and flexibility. On occasions when my children were ill or when I faced scheduling conflicts, Tara and her mother went above and beyond. They offered alternative arrangements without any additional cost, ensuring that my children were cared for without disrupting my university commitments. This level of understanding and accommodation was invaluable for me as a parent in education.
The facilities are top-notch, designed to nurture and entertain, ensuring that my children not only had a safe space but also a fun and educational one. It’s rare to find a service that balances play and care so seamlessly.
I cannot recommend Tara and Cathy highly enough. They have been a significant part of our lives, providing peace of mind and exceptional care. Any parent, especially those in academia, would find their service to be a game-changer.
