My Requirements

I am looking for an after-school nanny-housekeeper. The hours would be 3-6 hours per day, for 3-4 days a week (Tue. Wed. Thurs. are required, Friday optional). The exact hours are up for discussion. For example, could be 2.30pm-6pm, or 3.15pm-8.15pm. It's up to you whether to work on Friday evening as well, such as 5.30-8.30pm.

Your main job will be to look after my 7 year old son and 4 year old daughter after school. You need to pick them up together at 3.15pm (Tue/Wed/Thur.). The school is 5 minutes walk from our house, near Dundonald park in Wimbledon. Occasionally, the 7 year old has an after-school club which ends at 4.20pm. In that case, you will need to pick up the 4 year old first at 3.15pm and then the 7 year old at 4.20pm.

The time before 3.15pm is for housekeeping tasks: folding laundry, organizing kids' wardrobe, unloading dish washer, and preparing dinner. No cleaning is required as the cleaner comes every week. Please do supervise the kids to tidy up.

After school, you can take the kids to the playground/park next to the school, or straight home if the weather is bad. You will need to supervise the kids to do 15-20 minutes of homework per day. You will need to get dinner ready by 6pm. The children eat simple dishes such as plain pasta, boiled/steamed veg, oven-ready meat/fish (sausages, breaded chicken, breaded fish, etc.) If you are working beyond 6pm that day, please eat with them at 6pm, and take them upstairs for shower and teeth brushing at 7pm.

Though not essential to the job, I would like to hire you for occasional babysitting as well. That could be for half a day on a weekend or for a weekday evening till 9.30pm or 10pm. Such babysitting occassions will be ad hoc and less than once a week, subject to mutual agreement.

The job will start on the 24th of September. For the school holidays, I can offer more hours such as 9 hours a day for 4 days a week, or I'll just find a holiday camp if you are unavailable.
