About Me
I am an OFSTED registered childminder based in Wooden Hill, Bracknell, and also a mum to three boys. I can offer flexibility to suit your work commitments and offer all year round contracts, as well as wrap around before and after school care (I collect from Wooden hill Primary school).
I accept all funding schemes.
I hold a Level 3 qualification in Homebased Childcare and I am fully trained in Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding.
I provide a nurturing, cosy, home-from-home environment where children feel safe and secure in order to learn and develop. I work closely with parents and carers to follow a child's normal routine and to ensure that each child feels a real sense of family and belonging. I have a playroom and garden which can be used all year round.
As a childminder, I teach children about the wider world by exploring on outings and trips. I plan activities tailored to the child's individual interests. I follow and deliver the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) just like any other early years provider.
I take children to toddler groups, childminder drop-in sessions, trips to the park and library and other actives which the children will find enjoyable.
I care for children aged 0-12 and I can offer continuity of care for as long as required. I can assist with transition to school and I will support children attending other settings such as pre-schools or playgroups
My Experience
I am fully qualified childminder through Bracknell council. I have been working as a childminder since April 2022.
I am 1st aid trained, current safeguarding and constant training in the field.

My daughter has had the best time with Mahalia and her boys for the last two and a half years! Knowing she was in such good, caring hands made it so much easier to leave her there. Mahalia has been extremely attentive to my daughter’s needs and interests and has been super supportive to us as a family as well. Everything you’d want in a childminder! 🥰
