Hi,
I’m an OFSTED registered childminder based in Bewbush, with under 5 years old spaces available now!
I offer a home from home setting, where the children are treated as family, as well as supported through their learning journey.
I have a stimulating environment, with places to learn, play and develop.
I have vast experience, ranging from managing a pre school, to working within an adventure playground.
I’m qualified to a foundation degree level, and I apply the fundamental theories into my everyday practices, when working with children.
I have flexible spaces available and i’m open from 7AM till 6.30PM, so i’m available to meet most requirements.
We have a small house trained dog, and a cat.

I managed a preschool for 8 years, whilst completing my Level 3 Diploma and a Foundation Degree In Childcare and Education. I’ve also worked 3 years in afterschool club.
My Qualifications
Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education
Level 3 Diploma in Playwork.
Level 5 Foundation degree in Childcare and Education.
First Aid and child protection.

If you are looking for a kind & caring person whose attention to detail is amazing look no further, Gemma and her family are incredible.
My little girl started with her in September and Gemma knew exactly how many settling in sessions we would need and if anything changed she was accommodating! She then has my eldest over the holidays and they love going to Gemma’s.
They go above and beyond for those children always taking them out or planning things to do. This place is like a nursery she does so much more than your average childminder!

My son has been going to Gemma’s 5 days a week for nearly 8 months now, my daughter also goes during the holidays and they both absolutely love it.
Gemma provides such a homely, fun and educational environment for the children and it really shows as my son’s speech has come along so much since he started. Gemma takes the children on days out to the park, soft plays, farms and even the Sealife centre, more than I ever expected a childminder to do - she always goes above and beyond, throwing parties throughout the year for families to attend and my son always comes home with lovely thoughtful handmade gifts on special occasions. My daughter is incredibly shy but really came out of her shell at Gemma’s and she really looks forward to the holidays when she can go back.
Highly recommend Gemma if you are looking for a childminder who really has the best interests of your child at heart.

Gemma is an amazing childminder who goes above and beyond to make sure that all children in her care are looked after with the upmost care and respect. My Son has been going to Gemma for 4 years now and thoroughly enjoys his time with her. Gemma hosts party's throughout the year for the children to, I don't know how she does it but she always does and boy do the children enjoy! Thankyou Gemma for looking after my son so well and being so accommodating and flexible when rotas change!!

Where do I start Gemma and her family are the best. After having a bad past experience with a nursery I was so worried but knew from the second I walked into her lovely loving home it was the place for my little girl. I literally could not have asked for more. Gemma and her family are one in a million and I wish that I found her sooner. The facilities, activities, days out are second to none. My little girl absolutely loves it there and Gemma is so accommodating her communication is amazing. Love the newsletters and the App. Gemma offers so much more than just the average childminder. I have no worries knowing my little girl is in the best possible hands. If I could I would give more than 5*.

Gemma is a wonderful childminder, she is kind and caring and takes the time to get to know you and your child. Gemma was happy to do lots of settling sessions for my baby to help build up my baby's confidence attending the sessions, as she was a lockdown baby and had not been looked after by anyone other than me!
Gemma was patient and kind with my baby, and has built up a lovely bond with my now toddler. She looks forward to going to see Gemma and loves her time there and I have watched her grow in confidence which has been lovely to see. Its a wonderful home from home environment and Gemma is always doing lovely activities with be children.
I definitely recommend Gemma to anyone looking for childcare, she is brilliant.
