My name is pauline and I live in Islington London with my husband whom is a chef and two grown up children a daughter & son.
We have a chubby cat Diego and two tiny chihuahua dogs.
I really love working with children and babies and have worked with children for over 15 years, both in schools and children’s centres.
In my spare time I do yoga and pilates I also enjoy trying to come up with new healthy vegetarian recipes to cook. I love to shop & travel and have recently visited Poland. I recently worked in a children’s centre throughout the Coronavirus and remained calm and confident throughout. I am now looking for a lovely family to work with permanently or long term and feel I would like to go back to this way of working. I would prefer to stay in Islington but would consider Camden,Hackney and Central London. I can provide fun stimulating age appropriate activities and have extensive experience of the early years foundation stage curriculum and I have also provided support to children with SEN and those waiting for a diagnosis.

My Experience
My education and training has provided me with strong skills in Childcare, with previous babysitting and Nanny roles, after school help, along with being a Mother of two.
Along with Previous School Experience mentioned above I have worked in classrooms as an early years educator/ nursery nurse all in the Childcare sector for the past ten years. This has enabled me to have an extensive amount of experience working with children and Ensuring they learn while they have fun playing.
My previous daily tasks and experiences have involved me working with a large group of children some with special needs, one to one, whole class.
While I am able to work with all ages my main experience has been working with 0 -15year olds where I have Been responsible for setting up creative activities, arts and crafts, messy play reading stories, supporting phonics sessions, monitoring meal & snack times, and administering first aid as and when needed. And more recently being in charge of children’s centre and overseeing And supporting staff, while corresponding with parents and visitors.
I work in a calm and confident manner to provide children with the special care and support they need, making sure all children have fun while learning along with daily communications with parents and carers.
I am a qualified children’s Yoga Teacher and I have Previously worked both in schools and in my spare time this consists of leading 10 – 15 children in a group involving a ray of safe postures and breathing techniques which improves self confidence and mindfulness also can be one to one or smaller group. I also have experience working with children that require additional needs.
My Qualifications
NVQ 3 Childcare, up to date DBS & First Aid & paediatric certified, GCSE English, Level 2 creche work certificate, Safeguarding children, Health and Safety, Food Hygiene Certificate, Training on babies 0-3 development and journey. I am also Certified in teaching Children and Teens Yoga. Currently studying SEN online.
My Availability
I am currently working full time however Please note I am looking for a 3 or 4 day week permanent long term nanny position and I would also consider full time days hour. Term time & nanny share I am also Available for babysitting with sufficient notice.

Very professional and reliable my son had a great connection with Paula and same time she was very playful with high energy.
As she is coming from teaching background it was very nice to see she is teaching my toddler while she was talking to him randomly.
Also my dog loved her pet lover she is 😊
