Hello, I'm Catherine, I'm very creative, happy and fun to be with. I have two fantastic grown up daughters who are following their dreams and they have provided me with more experience than you can ever imagine.
My Experience
I have recently moved to Westbourne to my forever home by the sea and am currently working as a TA in a primary school. I have KeyStage 1 and 2 experience and I speak fluent French.
I have moved from Salisbury where I helped a few families with short term childcare needs. When I lived in Tunbridge Wells I looked after a family with two very energetic boys. The eldest was 5 years old when I started, then his little brother came along a few months later. The boys and their parents were wonderful to look after and work for. We became one very happy household. I left them when I moved to Salisbury.
Before working in Tunbridge Wells, I was a classroom assistant in a primary school in France for six years. I also managed the before and after school care. I've had vast experience with children of all ages including the difficult ones!
My Qualifications
30 years of looking after and working with children. I love reading to children and getting them enthusiastic about books and doing arts and crafts with the children, playing board games and helping them let their imaginations fly. I can help them with homework and teach them French. I’m really good at organising a home to run smoothly and am able to cook a wide variety of meals including vegetarian and vegan options.
My Availability
I am available weekdays. Please call me or message me for further details and available times. I can help your child/children when they get home from school and I can help with tidying up and getting food ready for the evening. I will make your home run smoothly.

We really appreciated Catherine’s help with our 5 year old and 4 year old boys, doing pick ups and evening routine for us as we had a new baby. Our five year old absolutely loved reading books with Catherine and she was very imaginative when he wanted to dress up and play make believe games. She also bonded with our younger son who loved being picked up from nursery by her - thank you Catherine :)
Overall
Catherine is nothing but amazing - a surrogate grandmother to my boys, she really treated them like they were her own. Her creativity, kindness, easy going nature and board game skills are definitely missed! Whoever welcomes Catherine in to look after their children, will be really lucky 💚

Catherine is a brilliant childminder – she has been an instant success with our 5yr old son and any concerns we had of changing childminders completely evaporated once she took over the role. With so much experience she's great at engaging with him creatively and setting boundaries that fit really well within our style of parenting. Her easy going manor means that we enjoy seeing her as much as our son! We feel very lucky to have found someone who is such a great fit for our family.

Hannah and Adam are lovely to work for, they are easy to get along with and very welcoming. Their boys are delightful and engaging and pure joy to be around. I was very lucky to find them and very sadly had to leave them to move nearer my own family.
