My Experience

I have been in childcare for 41 years. I started as a nanny but also had jobs as a Mothers help, and did a year of Maternity nursing. I started childminding 30 years ago when I decided it would be better for my first child if I started having children into our own home after sucessfully nannying with her for the first two years.

I also worked for one year in the ambulance service, but decided to go back into childcare as I missed working with children. I am very responsible and take the welfare of your child very seriously, I have an outstanding rating from Ofsted in keeping children safe whilst having fun. Children are eager to learn and what better way to do this than through play. I observe and get to know your child's individual interests and needs and plan activities accordingly. I also encourage children to be inquisitive and think for themselves and manage their own risk taking. (under supervision of course for the little one's)

My Qualifications

NNEB qualification.
NVQ Level 3 in Childrens Care, Learning and Development.
Herts Quality Standard award.
I hold a valid Pediatric first aid certificate.
I have completed 56 mini courses,all in my own time, which include some of the following;

My Availability

I have spaces available for one 0-5 years as from September 2021, full or part time.

I am open from 7.30am to 6.00pm Tuesday to Thursday.

My Fees

• Childminding from £5.00 per hour

I charge £5 an hour..
Discount available for siblings.
Food and drink inclusive, or you can provide a packed lunch if preferred.
I accept vouchers.
I am an accredited childminder, this means I can offer 15 FREE hours a week for 2, 3&4 year olds.
I can offer your child free milk.
