About Me
Hi my name is Hannah, I am 25yrs old and have been a nanny/nursery nurse for over 5 years. I was previously with a family for 3 years before covid hit, after the pandemic I went into a nursery setting where I was able to gain experience caring for children from the ages of 9 months to 5years old. I decided that child care was somthing I wanted to specialise in, so I will be studying to become a child therapist in September, but this is only one day a week in the early evenings.
I am now looking to see if there is a family out there that I could help throughout the week
I am able to coordinate activities and fun at home sessions to suit the age group of the child and to assist with growth and development, helping them to reach milestones and learn important developmental skills through child led learning and observation.
I would say I am a fun but fair nanny that can stick to a routine, has a wide skill set for cooking and cleaning and also able to accommodate any situation that is thrown at me. I am also able to communicate with schools or daycares as well as arrange play dates and social groups.
I am first aid trained.
I hold a dbs check that is over a year old, but can complete a more up to date one if required.
I have checkable references.
Full English speaking.
Non-smoking.
Pet friendly.
Non driver.
I am also fully available at weekends and overnights if required.

My Experience
My Experience I have gained from caring and babysitting for family and friends as I am the oldest of 7. Also Through part time nanny duties and babysitting I have gained a more professional understanding of this role with my past family, who’s two children I cared for 5 days a week after school, and being in a nursery setting.
I have experience with twins and baby’s from 9months and above, this is from babysitting and time spent working as a nursery nurse.

I studied business, economics and law but decided that it wasn’t the career choice for me. I am working on gaining first hand Experience on the job, whilst also studying to be a child therapist, gaining a better understanding so I can be a well rounded child care specialist.
