About Me
Hi my name is Sherrylee and I am 38 years old.
I am an OFSTED registered childminder for the Solihull area. I had my last ofsted inspection in August 2022 and was graded Good in all areas.
I have 21 years experience working with children in many environments such as day nurseries, schools and babysitting.
I am NVQ level 2,3 qualified in childcare.
I live with my husband Daniel whom we have been together for 18 years. We have 2 wonderful children Annalise who is 16 and Callum who is 7.
We also have a lovely cockapoo called Lola who is 9 years old.
Our home is a non smoking household.
I live in the Solihull area and I am available for nursery and school drop offs and pick ups to Damson Wood nursery Infant school and Coppice junior school.
We have a messy room/playroom and a room for children to relax in and enjoy as a home from home type of environment.
Myself and the children enjoy and will become involved in lots of activities throughout the day and enjoy regular trips out.
We have a lovely sized garden for kids to play in and enjoy themselves, with decking area and artificial grass, spacious area for them all.
I offer places to babies and children aged from 0+
My main aim is for the children to be within a safe and happy environment where they can express themselves as individuals or within a group, and be part of a loving and secure home from home.
When the children start with me I put together a learning journal, this shows you all their progress and achievements while they are in my care, with photo’s and written observations.
My Experience
Over 20 years experience with babies and young children 0 - 11yrs in nurseries, schools and babysitting.
I have many years of experience with babies as I have worked In baby rooms for the past 9 years plus the best of all experience, being a mommy to my 2 lovely children. I have also worked in schools undertaking learning support duties and supportive roles.

My daughter started with Sherrylee when she turned 1 and I had to return to work. My partner and I were so lucky to have found her because honestly it's been such a lovely and easy experience.
Sherrylee provides a variety of fun and educational activities as well as home cooked meals! And I loved getting updates and photos of what my littlen has been upto during the day. My daughter was always happy to see her and excited to go Sherrylee's even when it wasn't her day!
We kept her with Sherrylee the last 3 years, right up until she started full time school as we knew she was in safe hands and she just loved being there.
Couldn't recommend her more!

My Son has been going to Sherry since January 2019 when I returned to work. She does so many activities with the children and keeps you updated on what they have been getting up to. She is very approachable and the atmosphere at the house is calm and relaxed. My little boy is always happy to go in and I've never had any problems whilst he has been there. She provides a freshly cooked nutritious meals at lunch times and there is always a lot of variety in what foods are offered to the children on a daily basis. I highly recommend Sherry as a Childminder.

Sherry has been looking after my son since September 2019. She has been so wonderful and have a lovely home and family. She takes him to Coppice school for me in the mornings and picks him up in the afternoons. Never had any problems or concerns. Highly recommended!!!
