Bea was employed with our family from August 2021 to August 2023 as a Nanny to our son. From the moment we met Bea she seamlessly integrated into our family, and most importantly with our son who was aged 3 at the time. We had just moved from London to Wiltshire and our son was new into a local nursery, but in order for my wife and I to go back to work full time, we needed someone we could trust with our son for the morning period before he started nursery – Bea was simply outstanding and quickly became a part of our family, mirroring our style and listening to our and our son’s needs. This has continued without fault for the following twenty four months, during which I have spent an extended period of time away from home due to my work, however Bea was able to adapt to the situation within our home and ensure our son was comfortable with the change and ensured he focused on the positives of play and development at school.
One of the most important factors to us when deciding who we could trust as our family Nanny, was the ability to not only bond with our son, but also to be able to react to any medical situation that may arise. Bea’s clinical background and unflappable nature when faced with any child illness or symptoms is such a huge positive and was reassuring when work demands required us both to be away from the home. Whilst other Nanny’s were well experienced in childcare, this was a game changer for us, combined with her natural confidence and positivity in learning through play, we have been delighted with how Bea has bonded with our son and allowed us to have complete confidence in her abilities.
From preparing and feeding our son at breakfast, whilst always focusing on a fun element of education to dressing him and transporting him to Nursery, Bea was faultless throughout. It was clear for us to see that our Son genuinely enjoyed being with Bea, he felt safe with her, comfortable to be himself and had such fun with her every morning.
We were so lucky that Bea found us and spent four wonderful months looking after our 9 month old son. Our son absolutely adored Bea and we found her a huge source of comfort and knowledge, providing tips and reassuring advice to two anxious first time parents. Bea is a hugely experienced, reliable, kind and creative person, full of ideas about how to keep an inquisitive little one entertained and fulfilling their potential. She would often go above and beyond helping us with Felix's meal planning and planning activities for our son that we won't forget. Thank you Bea!

Bea
Honestly I cannot say enough good things about Bea. She has been with us 3 mornings a week for the last 4 months & I'm sad our time together has come to an end. She is excellent with both our children (3 year old girl & little boy who has just turned one) who adore her. She is extremely reliable, knowledgable, helpful & generally lovely to have around. The children have an absolute blast with her, & she somehow managed to have everything clean & tidy when she leaves. She is extremely capable, really doesn’t need direction, but always touches base to make sure she’s on the right track. Especially on the mornings where I feel like a headless chicken, I can feel confident that the children are in good hands when she arrives & she will find other ways to be helpful. I’ve caught her doing things like washing up the children’s breakfast things when she’s had time & I haven’t gotten around to it yet, something I wouldn’t have thought to ask her to do, but was a big help. She has fit in around us seamlessly, I have loved having her in our home & I’d happily recommend Bea to anyone.
