About Me
Hi, my name is Lyn and I am registered under Ofsted with a ‘good’ grading, based on the borders of Belvedere and Erith. I have worked in childcare for over 20 years ranging from Nursery Nursing to Management in Day Nurseries and now Childminding. I have gained my NFCE CACHE Level 3 Award in Preparing to Work in Home Based Childcare and also have a BTEC Diploma in Childhood Studies. I also have up to date training in Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and Food Hygiene to name but a few and a full clean driving licence.
I am married to Alan and we have two children, Kyra and Sofia who we are very proud of. I have lived in my home for over 10 years and have a lovely greyhound called Dante.
I aim to provide a home from home, warm and caring environment for your little ones. I believe that children learn best through play, in a fun, stimulating space with lots of opportunities to improve their Personal, Social and Emotional, Communication and Physical skills through a range of interesting activities.
I will ensure your child feels safe and happy with me and my family.

Lyn looked after my little boy from 5 months old until he started nursery and he was so happy there, developed so well and absolutely loved his time with Lyn. We were so happy with Lyn's setting that we then asked her to care for our little girl who is equally, if not more so, happy there! We are sadly moving from the area and have no choice but to take our little girl out of Lyn's care and it is the one thing we really wish was different because I'm not sure we can find another childminder as great as Lyn! I cannot fault anything at all and I only wish we could continue with our little girl.
