My Experience

I have had numerous roles working with children. I am a holiday club leader most summers which involves leading activities for children 7-11. I also volunteered throughout 2016 with an organisation called CCHF All About Kids, who run weekend respite care for children in vulnerable situations. During that role I had to be on duty for the whole weekend, entertaining the kids whilst time managing and being responsible or their safety at all times. I also worked in the retail shop Build A Bear in Churchill square, which I loved because there was so much kids interaction and a fantastic work ethos. I worked in a community café with a pre school room and loved forming a bond with the regular babies and tots that came in. I worked there since in opened in 2018 and then managed the café for 2 years until leaving in 2023 - it was a very children and baby friendly place, and I love interacting with them and creating a lovely relaxed atmosphere for our customers. Then I managed a kids café in Lewes called 'Little :ewes' which was for 0-5yrs. I also was a child minder for a 2yr old boy in Brighton one full day per week for 1.5 years until he started nursery prior to my café work.

My Qualifications

Politics and Social Policy Degree - 2:1
A levels - History Modern, English Lit & Lang, Sociology
11 GCSE's - Maths C (rest between C - A)

My Availability

I am looking to fill 4 days a week ideally between 9AM-5PM. I am open to being more flexible.
