About Me
Fully registered childminders with OFSTED, graded GOOD in all areas in January 2025.
I am a co-minder with my mum Hayley, who has a childcare background of over 20 years and is in the process of registering to be a childminder in her own right.
Our setting is based in a lovely rural area of Malvern Wells, with the hills on our doorstep and a huge play park and nature reserve within a 5 minute walk.
We plan on being a mainly outdoor based setting, spending our days in the nature reserve building dens and bug hunting, playing at the park and going on outings.
We take our children on at least one big trip a week- this could be things such as zoos, parks, national trust locations, aquariums, soft play centres, role play villages and many more, at no extra cost to parents!
I started off in nurseries and schools and soon found I loved the home environment after I started a job with Celia in early 2018.
We very much believe children thrive when they have a home from home environment and feel protected and loved and this is exactly what we strive for.
I currently don’t have any children of my own, but cherish the experience of working with children of all ages.
My Experience
I have worked in and out of nursery settings since the age of 15 (13 years) and have worked with all ages of children up to the age of 11. I have assisted in schools and worked with children with special educational needs and have an understanding of this. I have worked in private day care nurseries, pre schools, schools and holiday clubs.
Hayley has been working in and managing nurseries for over 20 years and has advanced SEN experience. She’s got fantastic experience in pre school and loves all things teaching!

Katie and Hayley are an amazing team, who are passionate about what they do. They are always welcoming and the children are really made to feel at home.
They go over and above and offer a great range of activities including trips to the nature reserve, soft play and farm parks. Parents are kept up to date during the day and it's lovely to see photos of everything the children have been up to.
My son has flourished since being at the setting and absolutely loves his time there. Sometimes he doesn't want to come home! Thank you both for everything that you do and for all of your hard work, you're fantastic and I couldn't recommend you enough.

Hayley and Katie are the best childminders Malvern has to offer. My daughter joined in September after leaving a nursery setting for a more home from home environment and it was the best decision we made. Our little one has thrived since joining the setting and has enjoyed many wonderful days out and adventures. Hayley and Katie really provide the very of best of care and they have such loving and warming personalities with the children’s needs at the very heart of everything they do. Not only all of the above but Hayley has huge experience in pre school learning and getting children ready for big school, this is why we chose for our daughter to do her pre school year here. She has already been practicing writing her name, counting numbers and much more. Hayley and Katie always incorporate educational activities in to their day to suit each child’s developmental milestones. In addition to all of this Katie and Hayley are so flexible in the hours of care they offer and are so supportive and understanding of our careers and will go above and beyond to help out where they can.

Katie and Hayley are absolutely fantastic childminders, and have really provided a 'home from home' for our son with their caring natures and genuine passion. They regularly take the children on incredible day-trips, for example to the local nature reserve, wildlife/farm parks and soft-play. They also go on trips to a local residential home and share stories with the residents which I just love. When they aren't out-and-about, they do painting, drawing, cooking, singing/stories, yoga, and play in the mud kitchen in the garden. We always know our son is going to have a brilliant day whether they stay at home or go out-and-about!
The communication is excellent, both verbally and on the BabyDays app, and we love recieving photo updates. They both know our son so well, and are always excited to share his achievements with us!
We feel so lucky that our son has established such strong and positive bonds with both Katie and Hayley, and we would recommend them to anyone and everyone who is looking for childcare!

My daughter was quite shy when she started with Katie at 9 months old, but the transition was super easy and she took to Katie's kind natured personality immediately. Since Katie has joined with her mum Hayley, Isla has thrived in their setting and absolutely loves both Katie and Hayley- they make me jealous with their days full of fun activities of learning. I would not hesitate to recommend both Hayley and Katie, as their kind, gentle nature has meant that I am able to leave my little girl worry free, with knowledge that she is well cared for and happy.

My daughter has been in a childminding setting with Katie since she was around 10 months old. She instantly enjoyed Katie's company and bonded well with her ever since. When Katie decided to set up her own childminding setting with Hayley we knew our daughter had to join too! Since joining her new setting my daughter has been on some incredible trips out with the other children, she's developed her speech at great pace, and is always happy when we see pictures of the activities she gets up to in the setting. Both Hayley and Katie are exceptionally lovely people with a lot of love and care to give to the children. I could not recommend them enough! I'm very grateful for all they do for my daughter, she looks forward to seeing them every time asking 'Where Katie?' when we are on our way over in the mornings! They are my daughter's best friends and feel like a second family for us.

Our daughter has been going to Katie since she was about 9months old. This was first at her previous setting but our daughter felt at home from the start. Katie has built a lovely relationship with our daughter and she's always very excited to go to her. We went with Katie to her new setting which she shares with Hayley and again our daughter felt at home straight away. Hayley, as well as Katie, are amazing at their job. The new setting has been great as they're both very keen to make it as fun for the children as possible, with lots of outdoor play (which we love!), messy play (saves me doing it at home) and amazing trips! We're very glad we decided to join Katie in her new adventure with Hayley.
