the best childminder

the best childminder my children have ever had and we have tried a few over the years.. my children love it here!! Yemi is very nice and friendly and you can see she loves children.. I highly recommend.

Great Childminder

As new parents, finding childcare was daunting, we searched and reached out to many Childminders, Yemmie was very warm and inviting and communicated regularly, we went for a parent visit and loved the setting, after 2 taster sessions were we're happy to go full time and our daughter loves going and playing with other children and making new friends. We are kept updated as much as reasonably possible and are very relieved to have found great childcare that's more affordable than standard nurseries. we feel more care and attention with our daughter than we would expect in a larger setting too.

Excellent!!

Both of my children, aged 3 and 4, have attended Yemi’s setting since May 2018.

Yemi has a really lovely manner with both of my children. She is always kind, calm and patient with them, and they both enjoy being in her care.

I have been impressed by the activities that Yemi does with my children which includes toddler groups, trips out, crafts, group activities within the home and free play, around the EYFS framework. Yemi is very observant about my children's development and is extremely good at keeping me informed.

The care environment is conducive to both learning and play. It is clean and safe, and the children have ample opportunity to play outside, as well as structured learning both indoors and outdoors alike. The children enjoy being taken on day trips on buses and trains. Yemi provides my children with hot meals, including breakfast, that they enjoy which includes vegetables and ample amounts of fruit.

Whenever I drop my children off and pick them up, I am always welcomed with a smile and see all the children playing happily together, and they regularly want to stay longer. Upon pick up I am given both a verbal handover and written feedback about what my children have done throughout the day, any concerns Yemi may have and any achievements they have made.

Yemi is caring and compassionate and has a natural talent with children. She is always keen to develop her skills and receives ongoing support and training through a childcare agency, ensuring she is up to date and the care and activities she provides are relevant and in accordance with the EYFS framework. I am regularly informed about any improvements or activities Yemi has planned, and she is keen to seek feedback about her care and is open to suggestions.

Being a shift worker, I am extremely grateful for the flexibility Yemi offers to cover all my shift patterns. She is reliable and willing to help out with childcare at short notice if she is able to. I am able to go to work confident that my children are in safe hands and will be well cared for, and my son will be safely dropped off and picked up from school.

Both my children enjoy, and ask to go to Yemi’s house which speaks a thousand words to me. I would have no hesitation in recommending Yemi to look after your child. I have found her to be extremely competent, trustworthy and conscientious. I am more than satisfied with everything she does, and all the help and advice she has given me when I needed it the most.
