Live-in nanny required by young professional couple, based in Dulwich / West Norwood SE27 (Zone3).
You will look after G4, B3 and a new baby 6 months. G4 is at school 5 days a week which is 20 metres from our front door. B3 goes to nursery 2 days per week (10 mins walk away), baby will be at home with the nanny. The children are well behaved and are in a good routine, they both have lively personalities and fun.
We need our nanny to be structured, organised and fun. Someone who has a genuine passion for children and childcare, who can will compliment our family, and provide seamless care for our children and new baby.
My Requirements
We need someone who can be organized, energetic, passionate and full of fun! We have a lot on offer in terms of activities in our area and we would like our nanny to enjoy participating in this. A good sense of humour and lighthearted manner would work well as we try not to take life too seriously and enjoy every minute we have with our young family.
We live in a newly renovated Victorian house and our nanny will have a floor of their own with a studio room with separate living / sleeping area and own bathroom. It is newly furnished and has TV (incl Netflix, amazon prime) / wifi etc.
Main duties include:
• Providing a loving and fun environment for the children while we work
• Arranging stimulating and fun activities for the children at home
• Arranging activities and play dates outside of the home.
• Cooking for the children
• Planning and supervising rest, bed and nap times
• Reading to and with the children
• The role involves the cleaning and tidying of the childrens’s room and toys, but we have a cleaner twice per week who takes care of the house.
• Doing the children’s laundry and ironing
• Changing the children’s bed linen
Working hours: Monday – Friday 7.30am – 7pm (flexible) 1 night pw babysitting
DBS and first aid required
Experience with babies is essential
Driving license not necessary but would be preferred
Salary negotiable depending on experience.
This is a long-term position
