About Me
I created my own service in 2022 to care for children in my own home, putting into practice all my experience from the last 20 years. I am a mum to the most wonderful young man (20)who inspired me to work with children 20 years ago. I live with my son and my amazing fiancée Kevin, and our cockapoo dog Rosie Crumble. I love crafting, gardening, camping, most things outdoors, swimming as well as spending time with my amazing family and friends.
I now work alongside my fiancée Kevin who is my registered assistant.
My Experience
I have over 20 years experience working with children and young people aged 6 weeks to 21 years of age. I have worked in a variety of Early Learning & Childcare roles in local authority, private and 3rd sector organisations. I have run play sessions and Baby Massage courses as an Instructor.
I use a Trauma-informed approach in my practice and employ nurture throughout my role. My most recent role has been assessing staff gaining qualifications in Early Learning & Childcare.
My Qualifications
I have a BA Childhood Practice gained in 2019. Prior to this I gained SVQ2 Playwork SVQ 3 Children's Care Learning and Development and PDA Childhood Practice.
I am a qualified Baby Massage Instructor.
My Availability
1 x After-school place available M, T, W, Th, F. 1 x Afterschool place Mon both from 1st December.

Lindsay started looking after my baby boy when he was only 3.5months old and I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better person. I felt immediately comfortable knowing my boy was cared for and happy whilst I was at work, with regular updates and informative communications. Knowing my baby thoroughly enjoys his days at Lindy Lou’s fills my heart with happiness. I get him back clean, smiley & exhausted after a fun filled day of activities. We’re moving away which is our only reason to leave and I know he’ll miss Lindsay, her family & their home & the other children. And so will I 😭
My first experience of childcare is one I’ll never forget for all the right reasons. Thank you Lindsay ❤️

We have only being using Lindsay since the summer and I can't recommend her highly enough. My son Andrew is on the autistic spectrum and we struggled to get appropriate childcare for during school holidays. We tried clubs but it only worked for a little while and then they couldn't cope.
Lindsay and her family have been welcoming, professional, understanding and nurturing. It has been a great weight of my mind We have someone for Andrew who also wants the very best for him.

So grateful to have Linz in our lives. She really understands the needs of my child, which helps put my mind at ease while I’m away. She’s nurturing, professional, helpful, reliable and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
