About Me
I am a mum of a one year old boy and am looking for a part time position that is happy for me to have my son along with me. I am a very loving and playful mum and your child would benefit from having someone that is full of energy and has a positive excitable nature.
I am currently working on starting my own mother and baby classes and have a lot of fun, sensory activities that I can use with your child also.
I am passionate about working with children and have a lot of experience predominantly working with children with special needs and disabilities but am of course, happy and able to work with all children.
I am university educated and hold a Cache level 3 in Childcare and Education.
My Experience
There is no better experience than being a mum but before that I have worked as a nanny for the past 7 years.
I have worked with children aged 3-18 with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, ODD, GDD, Fragile X, Cerebal Palsy, Quadriplegia, medical needs, brain injury, speech and language and selective mutism. I have had formal training in administering fluids via PEG and am confident using a PEG and maintaining it. I am passionate about what I do and thrive looking after children that need a bit of extra care and attention. I have worked with children in a school environment and have an understanding of the EYFS, Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum including phonics and early handwriting interventions so can help with homework or additional learning outside of school. I am responsible for the intimate care of the children I care for and have a very caring approach to this; this includes dressing children, showering, nappy changing and feeding.

Postgraduate Certificate in Play Therapy - Ongoing
BA Hons Degree
Cache level 3 in childcare and education.
Paediatric First Aid inclu. anaphylaxis and defibrillator training.
PEG care and Flo care training
Safe guarding
Fragile X e-learning.

My Fees
