My Experience

Responsible for looking after two young girls aged 8 and 11. Encouraging them to be completly indedapendant and setting daily rouitnes.

Duties:

Picking up children from school / afternoon clubs
Taking the children to and from activities, sports, playdates and arranging the childrens social schedule during term holidays
Tidying up bedrooms
Organsing daily diary
Grocery and household shopping, assistanting of organisation of house
Helping / Guiding with homework
Attending school plays and sports day
Taking children to GP and other important appointments
Babysitiing in the evenings
Overnight stays when parents were away from business / vaccations
preparing healthy meals
Baking / cooking with children
Bathing children and preparing them for bed
Organised one on one time with each child engaging in social activities

Responsible for looking after two young children one of them being a baby. Being totally focused on the children, organising and implementing their daily routines and helping them grow, learn and develop.

Duties:

Responsible for the safety, wellbeing, care and development of young children.
Getting children ready in the morning and then taking them to school.
Reading to and with children.
Attending any medical appointments or social events with the children.
Helping children with after-school activities like home work.
Being disciplined with the children when required.
Washing and bathing children as well as changing nappies.
Providing healthy meals and snacks for the children.
Providing supervision and constant care to children.
Stimulating children to read and be active.
Playing with the children and taking them shopping and to the park.
Tidying up children’s bedroom and play areas.
General housekeeping duties like cleaning, washing up and ironing.
Planning and organising age related activities.
Preparing bottles of milk for babies.
Reason for leaving: Boy was to start full time school and mother wanted to spend more quality time with the baby.

This was a sole charge position in which I cared for a two year girl interacted and built a happy loving bond with.

Duties:

Taught child safe behaviour such as seeking adult assistance when crossing the street and avoiding contact with unsafe objects.
Modelled appropriate social behaviours and encouraged concern for others.
Supervised child while parents were on vacations, business trips, and weekend getaways.
Instructed child in personal cleanliness and social development.
Organised games and trips and went for walks.
Prepared craft materials and helped child to use them.
Cooking and baking with child.
Took child to music play groups and interacted with other parents.
Organised swimming lessons.
Taught child to dress and undress herself and motivate child to be independent.
Reason for leaving: Family moved
