About Me
I am a dedicated, compassionate, organised and caring nanny with several years of experience in caring for children aged newborn to 16yrs old.
I believe children learn best from interesting experiences, so while working as a nanny I attempt to engage children in a variety of activities daily, in particular making the most of the outdoors, regardless of the weather. I have a passion for health eating and a good balanced diet and like to pass on this love for delicious healthy food to the children I care for. Furthermore I encourage children to use imaginative play as well as being creative whether it be arts and crafts or construction toys.
My Experience
I have cared for children in a variety of childcare roles including live in and live out nanny roles, temporary or permanent roles and babysitting roles.
My last positions I had built excellent relationships with the children in my care, I have organised playdates, changed nappies, prepared formula, prepared delicious and nutritious meals, organised school bags and kits, supported extra curricular activities and supported the emotional wellbeing of the children in my care, I also helped to organised home maintenance of the house when needed.
I have also had the opportunity to work as a teaching assistant in a SEN school, so I have a thorough understanding of safeguarding principles and importance of the welfare of the children. I have also developed great patience and take great pride in encouraging children to develop their full potential, by supporting their enthusiasm for learning.
