About Me
Here at Wildflower Childminding we combine nurturing care with opportunities to experience the world through play, books, music, art, sensory experiences and the natural environment.
Our standard opening hours are 7.30 am until 5.30 pm, our rates are inclusive of everything from nappies (Disposable or reusable cloth), wipes, Cooked meals snacks, formula, bottles and trips out, Sun cream and snowsuits are all included in our fees there are no hidden costs.
We have an enclosed garden, a large kitchen dining room for messy and creative activities, and two playrooms. I tailor our days to meet the needs of the children and design activities available to engage their interests and help them develop while having fun. We get out and explore the natural world as well as visit children's museums and other places of interest, alongside engaging in free play and adult-led activities.
Typical trips are to places like Eureka, Play centres, Harewood House, St Ives, Forest school, Yeadon Tarn, The Chevin Forest, the Science and Media Museum and National Trust sites.
Following the requirements of the EYFS, we ensure that we provide opportunities across the curriculum linked to your child's interests, and we record our days and communicate with you using Babysdays and Whats App, although we are happy to print things out as requested.
We provide homemade nutritious food and a variety of healthy snacks, we also eat out sometimes to enable children to experience different environments.
We are working towards being more environmentally friendly and we offer the option of either reusable cloth nappies or disposable nappies which are provided as part of our fees.
I offer the 9m, 2,3 and 4-year-old funded hours. With us, you can use the hours between 7.30 am and 5 pm.
I am a home educator and welcome enquiries from home-educating families.

My Experience
As a mom of 3 children, I have had a lot of experience looking after children of all ages from baby to teen. But on top of that, I have been registered as a childminder since February 2018. We look after children from 6 weeks to age 12. We have spaces for up to 9 children under 5 each day and have looked after many children from their start in childcare right through to school, providing an adaptive service for their families but also continuity and consistency for the children. I have my Level 3 Early years educator Qualification, our apprentice is now working on her level 3 after completing her level 2. .

Every child is different, as are the needs of parents, so I work with parents to ensure that their children are happy and that they get opportunities to thrive!
My Qualifications
Mark and I are fully qualified childminders, all of the team are trained in Pediatric First aid, Safeguarding, and the EYFS and have an enhanced Childminder DBS. All of the team are continually training, Emily and I both have our Level 3 Early Years Educator Qualifications. We continue to learn using CPD courses.
My Availability
We currently have spaces throughout the week.
We have one space on Wednesday and two spaces on Friday. We will have one full time space from January 25.

My daughter had lots of fun great experiences and thanks to Anne now she's fully potty trained. Only reason I've left her it's because I've moved far away sadly. Would recommend to all my friends

Anna provided a very professional and reassuring babysitting service. We had never left the boys with anyone other than a relative before so we were nervous about leaving them in the care of someone we don’t know. Anna came round to meet the family and to give us the opportunity to meet her and ask any questions we might have.
I would definitely recommend Anna and would use her again.
