About Me
My name is Shona I live in Finchampstead with my husband and two sons, aged 20 and 17. I am with in walking distance to the FBC community centre and park which is a fantastic facility with many playgroups to attend. I am a Good ofsted rated registered childminder and set up my business in March 2017. My background has always been in childcare originally qualifying as a teacher.
My Experience
I have many years experience in childcare starting from when I left college in 2000, Raising my 2 sons and helping out at pre school and later school. When both boys were at school I worked in different nursery and pre school settings until I embarked on setting up my own business.
My Qualifications
I have numerous qualifications relating to children and their development and wish to continue developing my skills. These courses include Montessori Diploma, Safeguarding, First Aid, Delivering the Early Years Framework, Expectations of Behaviour, Planning in the Moment and Supporting Emotional Development.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
My fees includes snack and water or milk, also wipes. Please be advised I find it better for the parent to provide food for the under 5s as this enables control of the child's diet.
