About Me

An extra set of hands to help care for your children and home- laundry, cleaning, preparing dinner, sole/joint childcare … whatever you need! My name is Francesca - Reliable, patient and enthusiastic I love caring for children and always have! I love the outdoors, baking, arts and crafts and think it’s very important to provide children with a happy, fun, positive fulfilling environment!!

My Experience

Nannying:
I have been an adhoc nanny for a number of families simultaneously, having sole care of the children, making sure they’re cared for, happy and safe. (Aged 6 months onward). My past families have been 3 children.

School runs, extra curricular activities (organisation and sole charge) interacting with the children encouraging new learning and experiences for them through different activities (e.g crafts, baking, games, days out, reading etc.)cooking, preparing dinner, help with homework, bathing and bedtime routine. As well as cleaning, laundry and other household chores.

Early Years Practitioner:
Teaching assistant in a primary school across Early Years (ages 4 and 5) as well as Year 1 and 2 (ages 5-7).
Responsibilities included planning age appropriate learning activities, helping the children with their understanding towards new skills, encouraging independence, reading stories to the class, assisting other teachers with lessons plans, learning journeys as well as teaching in the class room.

Childminders/ nursery:
Most days the settings consisted of 20-30 children ranging between the ages of 6 months to 4 years- taking care of the children, changing nappies, leading/ supervising stimulating activities (such as arts and crafts or sensory times, reading books, baking, song time), outings, cleaning, making healthy snacks/meals for the children, educational observations and more.

Poole hospital health care assistant children’s department:
- ensuring the child is safe, happy and pain free as possible, changing nappies, bathing, feeding, safeguarding training, cleaning, supporting clinical staff/families, taking medical observations, comforting children and families. A children well
