About Me
Fully qualified teacher with previous 3 years caring for children in a private household setting. I am seeking additional work during evenings and weekends and school holidays. I am currently working full time in a school setting and thus available to babysit at short notice on evenings and weekends or for extended periods of care during school holidays.
I am a creative, upbeat individual who aims to be continually encouraging with the children I care for. I am a keen cook and baker and love the outdoors. I have a flexible approach to work and I am eager to embrace working for a new family and all that has to offer.
My Experience
I have 3 years experience caring for four children ranging in age from 8-15. This work has included school pick up, homework help, tutoring (I have an English degree), cooking family meals, general PA work for the family, taking children to activities and late night babysitting. I also have experience caring for younger children from 6 months - 3 years.
I have often taken sole charge of the children in my care and feel comfortable meeting the needs of children in line with parent expectations and creating a safe, fun and nurturing environment for the children I care for.
I am a fully qualified secondary teacher and feel confident working with young people who have a range of SfL needs and have formal training in this area.
I can assure you that when in my care, your children will feel supported, values and cared for as the wonderful individuals they are.
