About Me
Hi, I’m Noreen Ismail from Unique Kids childminding. I believe that every child is unique and should be treated as an individual. For me childminding is more than just a job, I am passionate about providing children the opportunities and experiences, within a warm, loving, home based environment to enable them to flourish.
I am Ofsted registered and I recieved the Outstanding grade in my two last inspections (Dec 2015 and Feb 2020).
The setting is SchemaPlay (TM) (2024) and Hygge in the Early Years (TM) (2024) Accredited.
I follow the Early Years Foundation stage curriculum and, my services are tailor made to meet the needs of your family.
I am all for working in partnership with parents. By sharing your knowledge about your child, I am able to provide play based learning experiences for your child. Working together we ensure your child reaches their full potential. You child is part of our extended family!
I am registered to offer 9 months, two-years and the three-four year funded hours.
I have a home to home environment, with a large garden, I also take the children to the local play groups, parks and trips out to farms, museums etc, as well as indoor activities: painting, cooking, story time, role play, free play etc..
All meals are homemade and I can cater for specific dietary needs.
I live with my husband and two boys, the oldest is aged 16 and the youngest is 14.
I have also been a parent governor at Alma Park Primary School.

My Experience
I have been childminding for 15 years, but have many years of childcare experience (with 12 nephew and nieces, I have been babysitting and caring for them since I was 15 years old!).
As a childminder I have cared for children ranging from 6 months to 13 years.
I have two boys of my own who are at School. They look forward to playing with all the children after school.
I have experience of SEND, autism, bilingual, speech delays and catering to different dietary needs.
My Qualifications
I am focused on my professional development and I have completed the Level 3 Diploma for the children and young people workforce. I am currently completing the NPQ in Early Years Leadership (April 2025)
Previous qualifications include BA(hons) Retail marketing and CIM Professional postgraduate Diploma in Marketing.
I attend regular training and keep up to date on legislations, changes in government policies and academic thinking. I am also a Support Childminder for new childminders and have been a parent governor at Alma Park Primary School, as well as actively being involved with the PTA.
I am up to date on all the required qualifications and training, which includes
· Paediatric first aid
· Designated person safeguarding training
· Level 2 food safety in catering
· SEND Training - Level 3 Early Years SENCO
· Dental health training
· Data protection
· NCFE Level 2 certificate in equality and diversity
My Availability
2 full or part-time places from August 2025, due to children moving to reception.

My son has been in Noreen’s care since he was 8 months old and absolutely loves going to her everyday. They do a range of different activities and she really fosters a love for the outdoors, creativity and stories. She is so attentive and before he could speak, she would often notice the smallest changes in his behaviour. He has really flourished in her care and it feels like a second home to him. She is an excellent practitioner and engages in a range of professional development in her own time which means they are always trying something new. I can’t recommend her enough.

Noreen is a warm, caring childminder. My daughter has flourished under her care. Everyday the children do a wide range of fun, practical activities to support their development. My daughter has attended for nearly two years now and has loved going to Noreen's everyday. The environment is stimulated and constantly changing to interest and engage the children. I feel that my daughter has received the best start that she could of had. I say this as a parent but also a primary school teacher of 19 years. I cannot recommend her enough!
