About Me
Hello my name is Teresa, i am a professional childcare practitioner registered and inspected by Ofsted. I have been a registered childminder for 25years. I live with my husband Mark and 3 of my 4 children aged 26,19 and 15years. My eldest son lives not to far away and has blessed me with a beautiful granddaughter. I provide a homelike environment which appeals to many parents and children, as you know the child has all the comforts and security of a home setting as well as having other children to play with. All our learning is done through play with lots of laughter I offer care for your child from babyhood right through to secondary school which means they will have a great sense of security and continuity whilst in my care.
My Experience
I have 29 years experience of being a mother and 25 years experience as a childminder. My aim as a childminder is to provide a safe and caring environment for your child, I will encourage your child to learn and make their own choices and decisions for themselves. I will work closely with you to gain knowledge of your child and their experiences. I acknowledge that you the parent are the primary educators of your child and aim to provide the best possible care for your child.

NVQ3 in childcare, learning and development

I continue to attend courses and webinars throughout the year to keep me up to date with the latest going ons in childcare and education
My Availability
i currently have a waiting list in the early years age group (0-5yrs) , but please message for availability as a families circumstances may change and a vacancy may become available my hours are 07.00am-17.00pm. If hours are needed outside these hours please get in touch as it is a possibility i may be able to help with your requirements.

I also provide 15hrs free Early Years Entitlement funding for 9months, 2, 3 and 4 year olds. Also tax free childcare and 30 hrs free childcare

My daughter Clementine, absolutely loved going to see Teresa, every time Clementine would come home, she would tell me what she has made, what activity she did and what she had learnt with Teresa. Teresa was always very polite, easy to talk too and would tell you what her plan was for that day. Clementine would come home with lovely arts&craft work that she has made with Teresa. When it comes down to special occasions, Christmas, birthdays, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Easter, Teresa always goes that extra mile and does something lovely for the children! Clementine was very sad when we had to start our next chapter of big school because she didn’t want to leave Teresa but luckily enough we now see Teresa everyday on the school run and Clementine gives her the biggest hugs!
If anyone is wanting a childminder for their children, I would highly recommend Teresa! 😌

I'm so glad I found Teresa years ago.
She first looked after my son when he turned 10 months old till he started primary school and he absolutely thrived in her care.
Then she started looking after my daughter from 1 half year old. She's been absolutely amazing, always goes above and beyond!
Through all the struggles we have had with my daughter, Teresa has been there every step of the way and been in my corner helping me fight the battles we had.
My kids have loved going to Teresa.
She provides a homely, loving and fun environment for the for the children.
Her communication is spot on and I've never had to worry about anything.
I highly recommend Teresa to anyone that is looking for a top quality, reliable, friendly and caring childminder in Ruskington.

I wouldn't trust anyone else to have my children more than this women my children have been with her for 5/6 years and she has always been there to support the children and myself when I've needed it.
Teaching the children new things when I haven't had time due to work and making sure their physical and mental needs are met. Nothing has ever been to much to ask.
I highly recommend children coming to this safe educational setting where they will be loved and cared for like they are her own.
My children love Teresa and all her animals.

Teresa took my little boy on just before he was two after we found ourselves in the tricky situation of having to find a childminder very quickly. We are incredibly lucky she had the space as they don’t often come up- and as soon as you meet her, you can see why!! As a working couple we were looking for the right person to have our pride and joy and ensure he is well looked after while we are at work. Not only does Teresa have everything we could ever wish for qualifications wise, she is the most amazingly supportive and nurturing childminder, that really does bring the best out in her children. She has such a lovely home environment for them and the children are always encouraged to develop and thrive as the individuals they are.
This lady is truly worth her weight in gold and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending her to anyone looking for childcare.

My children have been going to Teresa since they were 7 & 9 months old. They are now 8 & 10 and are still lucky to go to Teresa in the school holidays. Teresa has provided first class care for our children from the very start and we feel very lucky. One of the main appeals of what Teresa can offer is her ‘home from home’ care. Our children fit straight in each time and we couldn’t wish for more. Teresa provides a loving, caring service and our children are often coming home with things they’ve made, such as crafts or cakes. We couldn’t recommend Teresa highly enough.

My two boys went to Teresa over a four year period. Both boys loved going to her and never wanted to come home with me. She still has them occasionally even though they are 12 and 13 now. She is a very reliable and will do anything to help if she can. Myself and my boys would recommend Teresa to anyone. She is the outstanding childminder that ofsted states she is.
