Amber is a really kind, considerate childminder and we were so pleased when we started sending our daughter to Amber along with Sally and Colin. Our 2 year old still asks after Amber months later and talked about her in the evening like she'd been hanging out with a good friend. She managed to find a balance between carer and fun companion. No small undertaking. Our daughter always looks forward to her days with Amber, Sally and Colin, lots of fun activities, painting, dancing and dressing up.

We were absolutely over the moon to have found Sally, Colin and Amber. The setting was really important for us and it’s so wonderful to see pictures of the children having fun running around the allotments and learning about nature. We loved how much Sally and Amber get the kids outside and how much effort they put in to making the days varied. Our little boy has absolutely flourished under their care, from learning how to look after smaller babies to creating beautiful arts and crafts and having lots of fun along the way! We feel lucky to have found Sally, Colin and Amber and would have no hesitation recommending

We put our little girl in at Sally’s, Amber and Colin when she was only 1 years of age.
We were feeling very anguish, nervous to let go of my daughter and into a setting but as soon as we drop our daughter off, we felt a sense of ease because the setting was wonderful, the cabin was bright , filled with lots of toys and had a warmth about it.
5 years on and our daughter has learnt leaps and bounds.
Our daughters always go into Amber/ Sally’s with a smile knowing she will be with kids that’s she has built good friendships with , and knows there will be outdoor activities , arts, crafts and play time in the garden.
We have being very fortunate to have such an amazing setting for our daughter because prior to this setting , I had done the rounds of visiting pre schools , nursery and was not very satisfied nor impressed.
I would highly recommend Amber as she is caring, organised, informative, experienced and great with kids of all age.
Amber generates a friendly , warm atmosphere, where the kids will learn whilst having fun and building good friendships.

Amber has looked after our 4yo in her family-run childminders for over 2 years. During this time, we felt confident that Amber always listened and paid attention to our daughter's feelings and emotions, undoubtedly making her an excellent carer and companion throughout the day. The facilities and day-to-day activities offered were just as we wanted with lots of time spent outside in the garden or nearby allotment, and a good mix of organised crafts, games and free-play activities. Amber always has a very pleasant and reassuring approach at drop-offs and evening pick-ups, which really helped especially during the settling-in period. We feel Amber and her family have made an important contribution to our daughters' development.

Amber has been a childminder to both my children over the course of the last 6 years. I always felt like we had lucked out finding her as she created such a home from home environment that exudes warmth, creativity and exploration for the children.
Both my children love going each day, we get regular photo and video updates of what’s happening and lots of beautiful art work brought home.
In the cabin there is a whole array of toys that I know Amber keeps super clean. Amber reads a story stake each day and gets the kids involved in the story telling. They have disco's with bubbles and lights, fancy dress, and spend lots of time outdoors. My kids loved going to the allotments where they would do nature checklists and see the changing seasons. In the summer there is lots of water play outside, picnics, and even growing their own flowers.
Amber is very focused on the kids and their welfare at all times, I know that they are always in the safest of hands, as Amber is often taking courses to keep up to date with childcare regulations.
Amber has instilled core values in my children of kindness, consideration, gratitude, generosity and empathy which has set them up well for their futures.
Amber really is the best childminder you will find. We would give 100 stars if we could!

Amber, Sally and Colin are brilliant childminders they have cared for both our children over the last three years. Our son started with them when he was one and settled in so quickly, he is still very happy to go there everyday nearly three years later.
Only having had experience of nurseries for our eldest we were a bit apprehensive about finding the right childminder, we feel really lucky to have found Sally, Amber and Colin they are so reliable and the children love going there.
Both children adore Amber, she takes great care of them, they come home talking about her. They love doing all the arts and crafts and outdoor activities with her. She’s really helped them both flourish over the last few years. We will miss her when our youngest starts school later this year.

Our daughter has been looked after by Amber for the last 2.5 years and Amber is a firm favourite! She clearly has a big impact on the children and is fun and creative in her play with them. She has also babysat for us multiple times and we’ve always felt very confident that she gives Elsie a fun and caring environment. Would not hesitate to reccomend her

Amber, Sally and Colin have provided a warm and nurturing setting for our daughter.
She settled immediately, which is a credit to their friendly and kind nature. You can tell they really get to know each child as an individual and are always coming up with new ways to entertain the kids. Amber is incredibly popular with the children: she really engages with them, asks lots of questions and plays with them in an imaginative way. We have some lovely videos of Amber interacting with our daughter, teaching her about new objects and animals. The setting becomes really magical in the spring and summer months when the kids spent most of their time outside, playing in the garden or visiting the chickens. It’s also great that the range of ages all play together, which I think really encourages the younger ones to develop rapidly. I can’t recommend Amber enough, she is a superb caregiver!

Amber has been babysitting our now 5 year old son for two years. She’s a wonderful person - super caring and kind! Our son adores Amber and she is always up for playing football in the garden, colouring or crafting with him when she looks after him. Amber is friendly and communicative too, which I really appreciate. We’re lucky to have her and can’t thank her enough for everything she does!

My daughter, Matilda, was with Amber and Sally from the age of eight months until starting school this September. Despite being a lockdown baby and not seeing many people in the first few months of her life I never had any hesitations leaving her in their care. They put me at ease immediately and Matilda instantly warmed to them both.
Sally and Amber provided a wholesome and engaging learning environment, from making trips to the allotment and showing the children basic gardening skills, to exploring various craft activities, including silk painting. It was enriching and so enjoyable for Matilda.
Matilda’s character has been shaped and moulded by these two lovely ladies, I feel very privileged that she has had such wonderful humans as her early role models. Matilda’s bond with Amber in particular was incredibly strong, she still often talks about her and will say how much she misses her, despite having not seen her for some months now.
I couldn’t rate Amber’s childminding service highly enough as it genuinely surpasses 5 stars.

Sally, Colin and Amber looked after our daughter from 1 until she left for preschool a few months ago. After looking at every nursery in the area, I knew as soon as I met them that this would be the right place for her. She thoroughly enjoyed her time here and often mentions how much she misses going here.
We got photos daily of the trips to the allotment, all their art activities and every day was a glowing review of the food.
I really can’t recommend them enough and feel very lucky to have found you!

We've had our son and daughter with Sally, Amber and Colin for several years. It's been a really positive experience for our children and us. We've all enjoyed a genuine and personable relationship. It's been (and is) more like an extended family than anything else.
The setting is lovely, with a playhouse at the back of the garden and an allotment nearby. There are always fun activities on the go including lots of arts and crafts (Sally and Amber are rather passionate about it).
We feel really lucky to have found Sally back then. There are enough children to make it a suitable social environment for everyone but not too many for it to become impersonal.
Sally has always been very helpful and accommodating when things go left-field (we've been 'blessed' with a fair amount of that over the years, as most young parents are).
We happily and highly recommend Amber and gang to anyone who is looking for a wholesome setting for their children.
Thanks for the wonderful experiences you've helped provide to our children, Sally, Amber and Colin.

Amber is a brilliant and fun childminder! She looked after our son and I felt so confident and safe leaving him in her care! She works hard to understand child development and came up with positive ways to support their development- thanks so much Amber for looking after our little boy so well! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a safe, engaging and homely environment for their little ones!

Amber has been a regular babysitter for us over the past 5+ years. She has done full days, pick ups and evenings for us, including when our youngest was a few months old. Our kids love her. She is engaging and playful with kids, and has a no-nonsense attitude which makes everything go smoothly. You and your family are in great hands with Amber!

Our little boy stayed with Amber, Sally and Colin from age 2 to nearly 4 when he started preschool, and we were delighted to have found them. They had a lovely setting, with a great playroom, full of varied toys for free-play. They live alongside the allotments and regularly go on little adventures there, to pick fruits, visit the chickens, have little races and throw sticks in the river. They also do crafts in the house as well as reading stories, singing songs, dancing, learning numbers and plenty of garden play. Amber and family took great care of our little boy and he really grew in confidence during the time they looked after him. Amber also babysits for us occasionally, and our son loves this. Highly recommended!

Amber has been looking after our daughter in a child minding and baby sitting capacity for over a year now, and she’s been GREAT!
Amber’s engaged, reliable and wam approach allowed us to quickly settle our daughter into a weekly routine where she was always excited about being with Amber and would always come back with stories about the fun things they had done together.
To this day, we haven’t seen any tears or tantrums at drop off and pick-up, which has been the best indicator to help us know, she is in good hands.
Amber has been responsive and flexible, when we have needed her to be and we’ve been regularly updated on our daughters activities and day whilst in Amber’s care.
My wife and I would be very confident in recommending Amber to other parents looking good for childcare services.
