About Me
Hello, I'm an Ofsted Registered Childminder Good Graded. I provide a safe, secure and stimulating Early Years Educational environment from my own home. I am a wife and mum of three children and have been childminding since 2016. We live in a 5 bed house in Monkston Park, I have a dedicated play room and enclosed secure garden. I firmly believe children need to feel happy before they can learn, so I work hard to ensure all the children I look after feel cared for and relaxed. I will consider collections from local primary schools from September 2023. My business is known as 'Monkston Park Childminding'.
My Experience
I am qualified and have 7 years experience in delivering the EYFS curriculum to 0-5 year olds creating a wide and exciting array of activities all designed to enhance optimum development and learning for every child I care for. I hold a Level 3 Award in Homebased Childcare. I am DBS checked, hold up-to-date Paediatric First aid certification and all relevant Safeguarding training and certification. I am mum to three children so have real life experience of caring for all ages up to 15 years old. I am firm believer that children need to feel happy, secure and listened to before they can begin to learn to their best ability. I aim to provide a relaxed and secure homelike environment whilst still helping every child to meet their full potential for their future educational journey.
My Qualifications
Level 3 CACHE in Home Based Childcare, Level 2 Food Safety, BSc Hons Biological Sciences, 8 GCSEs and 2 A'Levels, TQUK Level 3 award in Education and Training. Paediatric First Aid certification
My Availability
I am available from 7.45am - 5.15pm Monday - Friday all year round. I am available for wrap-around childcare for children local to Monkston Park. I run a breakfast club and afterschool club doing drop-offs and collections from schools within the local area and within walking distance from my home. My business is known as 'Monkston Park Childminding'.
