Absolutely Amazing

My children have attended Gerogette since they were both 6 months old, one is now 4 and one is 2. I wouldn’t have anyone else look after my children they enjoy every single day, they are very very well fed and have always loved going .

Both children feel comfortable and enjoy playing with the other children. Not only do they have many exciting activities at Georgettes home but they go on outings and experience new things each and every day.

Gerogette knows all the children in her care and insures each child is heard and attention is received. She is happy to listen to the parents and at every pick up we have lovely long chats about the children’s day there’s no sense of rush, Georgette is always accommodating.

Georgette is not a regular childmind, she is a superhero and without her I wouldn’t have be able to get back to university and work. Her home is my children’s home and as parents it’s important you feel comfortable leaving your children and there’s not been one day I’ve had to worry about them.

If there were 10 stars we would give them all!

Georgette looked after our 2 yo son 7 months, until we recently relocated for a new job opportunity. We can't recommend her highly enough. When he arrived with her our son had struggled to settle in two previous settings, and we were nervous about how he would find it and vice versa. Georgette immediate put us at ease - her home is a welcoming, loving space, where she takes a personal approach to giving each child what he/she needs to be at their best. Georgette adapted things in the setting for our son to help him grow trust and confidence, and once he was more familiar with things she helped us to navigate setting some boundaries to help all of us with life at home, as well as when he was with her. She is very kind and generous, but also firm, consistent and assertive, and has become a real extension of our family.

She has a fantastic setting which is all tailored around what the children enjoy and ideas to keep them entertained. From activities in the garden (even a pet snail project one rainy afternoon!) and in her home, outings to the park and to local museums and playgroups - every day there was something new to explore.

We saw our son's confidence and independence grow leaps and bounds and we have Georgette to thank!

Warm, loving childminder

My 2 year old son has been going to Georgette for 9 months and it is like a second home to him. She shows him so much love he settled straight away and runs in in the morning without looking back. My 4 year old daughter goes to Georgette for wraparound care (Burnt Ash Primary) and she loves it there too.

She provides an engaging setting as well as local trips out and her communication about their day is excellent, I love getting photos of all the fun they are getting up to. He has developed so much since being with her.

The most important thing though is that he feels so loved and safe with her and her family that he loves being there, which means the world to me, especially as he struggled to settle in a previous setting.

I couldn't recommend Georgette enough, she's amazing at what she does.

Absolutely Fantastic

My 3.5 year old son came to Georgette after a very difficult time at nursery. As a single parent it was a very difficult time for me also.

Georgette worked wonders! My son started talking more, interacting with his peers better. I only left because I relocated.

Georgette actually cares about the children she watches and has a genuine passion for her job. My son was truly loved and supported.

Lovely childminder

I’ve used Georgette service in an adhoc 3 day basis to cover half term for my 4 year old daughter. We’ve found her very last minute on childcare.co.uk as I was cancelled by another carer. We visited Georgette for viewing and ended up talking for about 2 hours easily. My daughter was a bit unsure at first as she always be with new people but because Georgette is so genuine and natural with children she warmed up easily. Second day meeting Georgette, my daughter was quite happy to be left on her care, she even happily say good bye to me when I have to leave for work and she didn’t want to leave then when I picked her up. Georgette’s setting is so lovely and her family are so welcoming. She also provide meals and snacks for the kids which was very handy. I’ve used another childminder’s services and have to provide lunch myself. She also provide a pick up and drop of service in Bromley which is very useful. I would highly reccomend Georgette if you ever need a childminder.

Brilliant childcare in loving environment

Georgette became my sons before and afterschool childminder in september 2018.
From a nervous mother who was worried about my sons transition to school from a nursery setting, Georgette eased my worries with how calming and welcoming she was from the moment we met her.
Great day to day stimulating activities are provided daily which is a great bonus as my son loves his time at Georgettes.
The children always seem happy, relaxed and well fed and also get the fab opportunity to learn french :)
If your looking for a fun home from home environment with no worries and with a lovely lady and family Georgette is your lady!

Words are not enough

Words are not enough to express how welcoming Georgette and her family have been to my little one.
There is a sense of peace from the moment you walk through the door which is definitely an extension of the kind, calm, gentle and compassionate way with which Georgette speaks and deals with my son and I am sure every other child she cares for.
From making cupcakes to their own playdough to simply sitting down and having a chat, Georgette knows just the balance between treating a child as a child and as the grown up they are becoming. Respectfully and compassionately.
I cannot thank her enough.
Anyone would be lucky to have her as a childminder.
We will truly miss her.
