About Me
My name is Alicja, an Ofsted registered childminder.
What I offer:
Home based childcare from my three bedroom house in Kensal Rise.
Full time, part time and after school care. School drop off and pick up (Princess Frederica CE VA Primary School).
My home is clean, safe and friendly, with lots of age-appropriate toys.
Activities available include: puzzles,blocks, books,play dough, cooking, musical instruments, rhymes & songs, painting, drawing, baby toys and many more.
I also arrange age-appropriate educational activities following statutory framework for the early years foundation stage (EYFS) to help develop all skills from a young age.
I believe that young children benefit physically and emotionally from social environment therefore I attend local drops in's and make the best use of our community: parks, libraries, play centres & museums.
I provide fresh healthy homemade hot meals and have a weekly menu available for review. I can cater for specific dietary requirements. Parents are also welcome to bring their own food.
I have a quiet room for the children to take their naps during the day.
My Experience and Qualifications:
I’m a newly registered Ofsted childminder with current DBS check (relevant documentation available).
I worked as a qualified teacher in Poland and after arriving in England I worked full time at a London daycare nursery for more then 3 years.
More recently, while my own children were young, I have provided part time childcare services to a number of families.
In my private life I am a mum to three lovely children (13,10,8).
My Location:
I am close to Kensal Rise and Kensal Green tube, rail and bus stations.
My house is located directly in front of Princess Frederica CE VA Primary School.

I hold Master’s degree in Childcare and used to work as a teacher in Poland,
after arriving in England I worked full time at a London daycare nursery Happy Times for more then 3 years.
I have also worked in schools and in a different nursery through agency.
I've gained valuable experience from raising three children of my own 13,10,8.
I have experience in caring for children of all ages from newborns to eight year olds.

We’ve had the pleasure of sending both our children to Little Friendly House in their formative years. Our happy little girl has been attending Little Friendly House since she was 1 and is now going to school, and then attending the after school care alongside her big brother. We have been so lucky to have had LFH in our lives as we genuinely feel it has shaped them into the happy little people that they are. It’s always felt like a family setting, especially as we have no local family nearby. The food is prepared lovingly, quality is top notch and they have both entered school without so much as a blip, only confidence and deep security in her big people should she ever need it.
I cannot recommend LFH enough, and our family has cherished Alicja, Sara and her team for always treating us like family.

We first met Alicja back in 2021 after moving to Kensal Rise and looking for after school care for our 3-year old son who was about to join the nursery class at Princess Frederica School. Alicja came highly recommended through other parents and we quickly realised how high in demand she was as getting a space wasn't easy! Since then, we have continued to trust Alicja and her team to provide some after school care for our son who is now 6, and importantly, have also trusted them with full time care for our now 2-year old daughter since she was just 6-months old. Alicja and her team are very passionate and professional. Our daughter loves going every day; she is always so happy and walks through the blue door with a big smile on her face. We have been so grateful for the friendly, nurturing and fun environment they provide and highly recommend them.

We have been so happy that we sent our daughter to Alicja. Alicja is like extended family to us - our daughter started with her at 13 months and she is now almost 3.
Alicja creates a fun and nurturing environment for our daughter, with a wide range of fun activities and external trips, and it's obvious that she cares deeply for all the children she looks after.
Alicja sends us lovely photos and videos of our daughter's adventures, and always keeps us informed about every aspect of her care. Her home is safe, clean, and well-equipped. She home cooks all their food and our daughter eats better there than she does with us!
We have have had no concerns about the care our first daughter has received, so much so that we are hoping to send our second daughter to Alicja's when she turns one next year.

For the last two years our daughter has been minded by Alicja and Sara at Little Friendlyhouse. The environment provided by them is beautiful, warm, nurturing and loving, and we trust them emphatically that they will always look after our daughter with all the care and attention she needs. We could never not consider or forget Little Friendlyhouse for the loving impact they have had on our daughter.

Alicja has looked after my little boy for the past 1.5years and she is honestly amazing. She has been an absolute blessing for our family. Her warm, nurturing, and professional approach has made all the difference in my son's development and happiness. Every day, he looks forward to spending time with her, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about the well-being of each child in her care. From creating fun, engaging activities to providing a safe and loving environment, Alicja goes above and beyond. She’s been more than just a caregiver; she’s become a trusted extension of our family. We feel incredibly lucky to have found her and are so grateful for everything she’s done for us!

Our daughter has been at Alicja's for two years, and we couldn't be happier with the level of care provided by both Alicja and Sara. Our daughter is excited to go and always smiles and laughs when collected. The genuine care shown to our daughter and all the kids in attendance is outstanding, and healthy meals are freshly prepared and devoured each day - including foods she refuses to eat at home. We're kept up to date with any fussy days or changes, we're listened to, and potty training wasn't even a thought for us as our daughter started using the potty naturally through watching and being with the other children of a similar age.
We're so lucky to have found Alicja's and grateful to know our daughter is safe and happy every day, and surrounded by wonderful people.

Alicja and her assistant Sara, have been our primary childcare for my son, who is now 4 since he was 1 years old. We continue to rely on their help now that he is at the nursery with after school care. We could not have been happier with their help over the years and they mean the world to me and my family. They are caring professional, reliable, flexible, loving and simply amazing. Alicja is also a queen of providing healthy and highly nourishing meals for lunch and dinner. What I always loved is how they both are in tune with individual child’s needs. We have an active boy, who I know always had loads of opportunities to release his energy running around playgrounds, going to play groups and even sometimes was taken with his friends on a scooter rides. Alicja and her assistant Sara are now an extension of our family and have helped us raise our son into a gentle, loving, kind boy he is now. They truly are exceptional and I cannot recommend their setting enough.

My daughter has been coming here for 6 months and she loves it. She jumps in to Alicja’s arms when she is dropped off in the morning. Alicja is very good at letting me know how she has been that day, and she is very sensitive to our daughter. Alicja sends photos and videos to show what she has been doing that week. We are very happy at Alicja’s!

My son Z has been with Alicja since he was 11 months old when he started settling. I knew she was the one as he was so comfortable in her setting when we visited, she was so engaged with him and picked up aspects about him that others didn't. She bonded with him well and he settled so easily. As with most children, he would cry at drop offs and she would always send me a picture soon after to relieve me on my way to work and show me he was doing just fine. She adapted his meals due to his allergies and was so supportive of it all. His fussy eating and allergies were difficult and she really tried her best. Sara was Z's key worker and she is the most incredible person, she has loved Z like her own, she is a wonderful individual. Sara still looks after Z in holidays and she is part of our family now. Alicja took care of the children like her own, she loved them, cuddled them, ached for them when they were sick. She is still a member of our family and will always be. Despite us moving on to pre-school, she remains a close family friend now and he goes to her during half terms. Her family is so loving and her home is full of love. We are so blessed to have found Alicja but also to have found the most amazing friends as they are now are best friends for life (any best friend of Z is our best friend too :D ).

Our daughter has been going to Alicja's setting for almost 3 years - since she was only 8 month old! Alicja and her team provide with the best care a parent can possibly imagine, from a warm and cosy setting full of toys, to home-made food and most importantly, an environment full of love. Alicja has an impressive background in childcare and her expertise is manifested in the way she plans all the daily activities, her approach to stimulate learning through play and her genuine passion and dedication. We consider Alicja part of our family and we will always be grateful for her invaluable help with the development of our child.
