I’m a young, vibrant & friendly Private Tutor based in LS16, who has 10 years experience of working in schools and working with children. I offer both face to face and virtual private tuition. This includes support for homeschooled children.
I will be also offering wrap around childcare / school drop off & pick up to children attending St. Chad’s C of E Primary School from September 2023.
My Experience
I am a Private Tutor and I specialise in Pre-School & Primary English & Mathematics. I also help with SATs & 11+Entry Exams & teach Essential ICT Skills for Beginners to both children & adults, as well as English to mature EAL students.
I also have experience of teaching children with ADHD, Dyslexia or High Functioning Autism.
Although I specialise in core subjects (Maths & English), I also offer private tuition in Art, Geography, Computing, History, Design Technology, RE and Science to homeschooled children or as an extra after school activity.
My Qualifications
11 GCSE Passes Inc Child Development, English & Maths.
3 Alevel passes inc English Language
Bachelor of Science Degree in ICT with Law
My Availability
I provide weekday daytime tuition to homeschooled pupils between 9.00am-2.00pm and also evening tuition weekdays 3.30pm-8.00pm to pupils in full time education.

£45 an hour for private tuition at Tutors home.
£50 an hour for Homeschooling or Adult Tuition.

Sonia is not only a brilliant tutor with my daughter but she is also a lovely person who really does care about the pupils she tutors. She keeps me up to date with my daughters progress, makes lessons fun and exciting and I’ve had nothing but praise from my Little girl regarding their sessions! She looks forward to seeing Sonia each time - they’ve got a lovely little friendship and it’s so lovely to see! Sonia is flexible, reliable, punctual and an all round brilliant tutor - 100000% recommend her if you are looking for a tutor for you’re children!
