OUTSTANDING OFSTED REGISTERED CHILDMINDER
My name is Suzanne, however, I’m usually known as Suzy and have been a registered childminder since 2003. I care for ages between 0-8 years old. I also have two older children.
My goal is to setup friendly, equal opportunity, reliable, secure and healthy environment for all the children in my care. This means that I'm committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children under my care.
What it means by Ofsted (Office for Standards in Education Children’s Services and Skills). Registered Childminder is regularly having a visit from the Government Body to ensuring I’m a suitable person to care for children in the Early Years and following their Policies and Procedures.
My Experience
How Children Learn
I offer variety of activities e.g. by observing, recognising and preparing to put in place the core area of developments such as language & literacy, problem solving, reasoning & numeracy, art & craft, physical, personal, social & emotional developments and knowledge & understanding of the world. Children also have their each special books which they display their work. I have a garden with slides, sandpit, playhouse and other small play areas. With parents consent, children have opportunity to visit stay & play, library, park and occasional trips such as farms, museum, soft play etc. It is important to encurage children take part in all the activities or may be something that child has chosen to explore.

Suzy is great childminder, very friendly and accommodating. It’s hard to find space for very little children and she is able to take care of children from newborn.

Suzy is amazing and my children love her. She is calm, thoughtful and fun. She's so good I'd rather you don't use her as we love her too much!! Really can't recommend her highly enough.
