My Summary
About Me
Hello!
My name is Millie and I am 31. I have worked as a Nursery Assistant at a local nursery for the past five years and have loved my time there - my job means the world to me! I am now looking for a nanny job for one/two days a week that can fit into my working week.
I am a creative, upbeat and caring individual. In 2017, I studied my Fine Art Degree at Chelsea Arts College and graduated with a 2:1 BA Hons Degree. I still love making art and very much enjoy encouraging a creative flare in children too. I believe creative expression is so important, whether it be a love of drawing, painting, storytelling, modelling play-dough, performing, making mud pies or building dens outdoors! I am never afraid to get stuck in with messy activities but will of course tidy up afterwards. I like being organised but am also very happy to go with the flow - I love the spontaneity of working with children.
At the nursery I have gained valuable experience working with both the toddler and preschool age groups. I am extremely passionate about working in Early Years and I love the challenges it brings. I find it incredibly fulfilling and I understand how important a child's first years are.
I previously worked as a part-time Nanny (whilst studying my degree) and looked after children aged 18 months upwards. In 2018 I qualified as an Ofsted registered Nanny.
Outside of work I enjoy leading a healthy, active lifestyle and love spending time outdoors. I enjoy hiking, trail running, cycling, snowboarding, art (particularly drawing), yoga, socialising, listening to music and cups of tea!
My availability currently says Thursdays and Fridays for nannying, however this may be flexible.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you feel I could be a good fit for your family life. I would love to hear from you. :)
Thank you!
Millie
