About Me
We are a very nice family to work with, we have lots to offer a nanny / au pair. We are easy to speak to, supportive and proactive. Our son is quite energetic, quite a typical boy - loves football and has a lot of character! Our daughter is a sweet, happy, gentle sweetheart who is having help to speak and that's why we need someone really special who can be part of the team to support her in that goal.
My Requirements
I would be looking for a 12 month commitment minimum, starting from July 2024. 30 hours per week.
Monday - Friday 6.30am - 10.30am (1st hour breakfast and get our son ready for school / second hour same with our daughter then tidying house / laundry from 8.30am when the children will be at school / busy).
The housework would involve mainly tidying the house on a daily basis when the children leave in the morning. On Friday I would like some light hoovering so that the house is in order for the weekend, some ironing / laundry on a daily basis.
At 4.30pm you would be on hand from 4.30pm - 6.30pm and would prepare dinner for both children. Saturdays for additional hours are an option.
We ideally want someone that has some childcare experience, goes above and beyond in all their work, both with the children and also with keeping house, has high standards of cleanliness (ideally a bit OCD with keeping things clean and organised!) and strong work ethic. Both parents are working and we need someone that is really reliable and trustworthy. We have a weekly cleaner and ironing service for bedsheets and shirts but there is still lots of small things that need to be sorted daily.
There could be some weekend / evening babysitting on agreement between us over and above normal duties.
The pay is negotiable, this is a live in position and will include all bills eg utilities, weekly cleaner, wifi, council tax, water and Sky.
